Dear lord. even thats underwhelming... So I just did the math(roughly)....were talking less than 2 Million dollars for these 11 books... yes thats a lot of money...but again I always in my mind figured "The world's best set" would be worth more than that. Assuming hes got Detective 39 to 100 in roughly 9.0 + grades.... were talking less than 4 Million dollars for the "world's best Known" Detective comics run 27 to 100. but of course the value here is not actually the value of the comics...Knowing you have the worlds best Known Detective run is priceless for a die hard comic fan... thank you so much for the info... PS, I asked this once before but I dont remember the answer. does anyone know why Dave Anderson wont have his comics graded?

thank you... This clears up my confusion and being "Underwhelmed" ... I knew the a collection of Batman and Detective that is one of the BEST collections had to be worth way more than 1.4 M.... is the answer Known? Is there a consensus #1 Set of Detective out there, Does someone have the title of having The best Known Set of Detective comics? I someone owns the best Known copy of Detective 27....but do they also have the rest of the set ? or is there a person out there with a lower graded copy of Detective #27, but Overall has the best Known set of Detective based on the rest of the issues?

let me first say...dear lord this is awful and Truly is for me a personal worst nightmare... I wish I could properly explain the lengths I have gone to trying to make my house break in proof for this exact reason... I feel AWFUL for this person.. but and theres no way to say this without it sounding terrible so I'm sorry...but I must say I was kinda underwhelmed by this story and the reason is. The article say this guy has the #1 CGC sets of Batman and Detective and they are ONLY worth 1.4 Million? the best registered sets of these GOLDEN age series are only worth 1.4 M? Maybe its just me(and that entirely possible, I'm very inexperienced)but I've often thought about what The Best set of Spider-Man would be worth or Batman and Detective....and I must say I certainly thought they would be worth than 1.4 M

Thank for the advice I had it graded at 8.5 to 9.0 for about 3 years. But Last Month, I got it out to take a picture of it and Finally noticed the Staining on the back....Broke My Heart. The book is so nice.. I actually remember grading it and putting in a new bag and backer 3 years ago...and I plain just didnt see the stain on the back. I had another copy that was probably a 7.5 but I traded it a year and half ago...I wrongly thought This copy was the better copy...but with what I know now after noticing The staining...I probably traded off the better copy.

One of My All Time favorite cover! I found this book hiding in a box of "Marvel Team Up"...Very happy to have in my collection now. Would Love to Have Sub-Mariner #8...also one of my favorite covers Sub-Mariner has always been one of My favorite characters...Love his abilities...always loved the superheroes with Super strength...Love he get stronger in Water...and I remember really loving The wings on his feet when I was a kid.

There is some staining at the top of the book on the back. It is Slight, but large...It can even be over looked if your not really looking, but it looks like water damage, The book is not wrinkle at all. The Staining is only on the back of the cover, you can not see it when you open the book and look at the back from the inside. any thoughts would be great. Overall the book in in great shape except for the stain on the back thanks

I am lucky enough to own this trilogy... Personally #48 Will always be The crown jewel to me... But I've been reading #49 is becoming extremely hot right. Sorry only group shots, But $48,49 and 50 are in there..

Hey guys, Just hoping you guys could help me out...I'm not sure how to grade this comic...Its got some "Bends" on the top of the book and some "writing Indentations" on the cover, mostly looks like numbers, there is no actual writing on the cover, and none the indentations break through the cover. I tried to take pictures of the Indentations but I'm not sure you can totally see, If you cant, Please just help me out with the "Bends" on the top....I have no clue how much the bends should bring down the grade. thanks

its my first ebay listing...I'll get better I had it originally listed as The Incredible Hulk #180 and #182... but I had to revise when I noticed the details showed it as Hulk #181.... It wouldnt let me revise it to Hulk #180, so I had to revise to Hulk #182..but .I didnt know that it also changed the title... I have since revised it again and changed the title back.... regardless, I'm clearly not very good at this... EDIT....it still says Hulk 181 under product detail...Have no clue how to change it, tried everything

does anyone know If CGC comes to Indiana? I've been doing a little research and Indiana has one major comic con a year downtown. I think I found an article saying CGC came last year in 2018... this years the Indiana comic con takes place from Aug. 30th through Sept. 1st. But I dont know how to tell if CGC will be there. If anyone here knows the answer to this...I would greatly appreciate it

I was absolutely in no way making this statement as an insult... literally the exact opposite... Like you, I quite enjoyed seeing this book...I had never seen it or even know it existed... as soon as I saw it, I googled it but couldnt find much...therefor I asked does it have value ? I was really interested in it, but couldnt find much info on it and was curious if it was as value as normal #1s.... I'm sorry you missed understood what I said...IMO you completely overreacted...but maybe I could have made myself a little more clear... Make no mistake though...my statement was 100% made because I wanted to KNOW MORE about this book that I found very interesting ...

ok..I'll think about it...but to be honest, I'm not sure I have the money right now...I just looked up the cost of Mylar... and it would cost quite a bit to get new Mylar for the amount of Keys I have... These Conan's Keys are like the bottom end of my keys ...I have around 1100 other keys that would deserved to be put in Mylar before them.. but I hear your overall Point
