  1. I'll need to check that out. It looks like you've spent a little time there...
  2. If she is signing, I would love to know what books people are sending in. Pics please.
  3. Hmmm... I guess I'll have to give it a try. When you change the Slot Order, does it display in that sequence for anyone else viewing the set? So when I first input the books, I assign each a Slot Number? If I forgot to put a book in there, I can go back a edit the Slot Numbers of subsequent books?
  4. Last name looks like "Sylos", but I'm sure you see that portion.
  5. I thought they still told the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf in Switzerland, no?
  6. Kerning! It would be much easier to remove a printing plate element rather than adding one in. Just chisel that raised dot right off!
  7. Nice Canadians!! I don't think I have seen those for sale... ever.
  8. This is problematic for me because I am still working on completing the sets. What's the point of building a set when I am missing an issue in sequence? When I finally obtain it, I have to put it at the end of the list??? If I'm missing the first issue, I can't even begin...
  9. When you make a custom set, did you need to pre-plan the issue sequence before creating the set? For example, I attempted to create a custom set (a while ago, and haven't tried since) and I was randomly adding in the books I wanted as I pulled them from my long boxes. Once they were entered, I could find no way of correctly sequencing them by release date or title and issue number. Is there a "sort" feature/button?
  10. But the question still stands. I'll write sign Bob Kane on your 2016 book.
  11. Probably just easier to change that small block of text on the printing plate than create a whole new plate...
  12. Just your signature then. Thank you!
  13. I consider "Superboy" to be the younger self of "Superman". The same person/being. That's how Superboy began (correct me if I'm wrong).
  14. @srezvan I'll take a signed copy of The World's Worst, please. Are the other contributors also able to sign? Signatures in COLOR please.
  15. Requesting "John Richard Flanagan" be given cover art credit for the following books: More Fun #45 (1939) has no cover credit for Flanagan More Fun #48 (1939) incorrectly states the cover is by Flessel Adventure #36 (1939) incorrectly states the cover is by Flessel Adventure #38 (1939) incorrectly states the cover is Flessel's
  16. Requesting Superman #1 (1939) add a note to the labels to indicate the inside back page ad on-sale date (for Action Comics 14) as either "June 2nd AD" or "Now On Sale AD" to differentiate between copies.
  17. If I win the billion dollar lottery in the next few days, I'd seek out the "June 2nd" copy. I don't know how I'd do that without either finding a raw copy or... a raw copy. This is like the stamp cut-out IH181 masquerading in blue labels.
  18. I was looking in the "Ask CGC" forums for a topic like this. Were you ever able to get any traction with system data/census changes?
  19. So this has been known for YEARS, and CGC doesn't note it on the labels?
  20. I've read several times that there were multiple printings, but I've never seen any evidence of how they differ from one another.
  21. For me, it comes down to the repetitive nature of the adventures. There are plenty of talented artists, but we need some PKD writing! There's a Millar-verse book called Starlight which I enjoyed quite a bit that thematically matches FG.
