  1. Looks like you got one of those Flashs from the same seller I got mine. MINTY!
  2. Only for the MOST obscure and colorful characters. I got the Charlton 3-pack with Vigilante, Judo Master and Peacemaker. They're composed of too many pieces and don't look "sculpted". I have not been a fan of any of the faces of the characters without masks or helmets. I'll grab a Deathstroke if I see him for less than $10. Oh, and if they don't have Garcia-Lopez card-art - forgetaboutit!
  3. I'm painting up the mother of all mailboxes right now. I'm just too tired of having that stuff happen to all my packages. The current people (no longer just one mailperson) leave packages out on the long driveway in the rain (F*$@%#). This new mailbox is 2.5ft long by 1ft tall. Problem is, you give a mouse a cookie...
  4. everyone's right arm is a bit short... weird.
  5. Would you happen to have a "50's Funnies" Stout cover in the upcoming posts? I also seek Chrome Fetus comics (but those might be too scarce to find anywhere).
  6. I'm confused. Although the example I'm quoting you on does not contain a title field, it appears to indicate that a Canadian Price Variant is allowable in a regular set? I thought the decision was to only allow those kind of books in "Foreign" editions.
  7. I'm saying that I do not believe it's the graders. Rather, it's the encapsulation department doing the damage. If the book got a 9.8, then why is it now looking like a 9.4 with spine ticks and blunted corners in the slab? Regardless, we don't know the internal processes at CGC. The end result is what we see, and I concur that books are being damaged.
  8. This. I'm certain the graders wouldn't cause damage to books, but do the graders also operate the encapsulation equipment? Too many books are coming back with corner bends or tiny folded corners or squished into frames slightly too tight.
  9. I have no dog in this fight, but a white page book has been preserved better than it's off-white or brittle counterpart. Isn't that what the registry comes down to? A competition for the best copies? You'll just have to disregard that a 9.6 can look like a 10 and a 9.8 can look like a 9.4.
  10. I'm sure the type of tape will be considered in balancing Universal v Restored. Scotch? Maybe Universal. That's a fun pondery.
  11. I'm not a big fan of the manga style with figure-drawing, but these cityscapes are pretty awesome.
  12. ...if CGC compensates the collector. It appears that CGC is holding the books and compensation until something else happens (trial?).
