It must be the translation of the title. I assumed you intended to have the book graded. It's a very cool book!

I'd say that's another bit of evidence that points towards the dot being an error and subsequently removed for later prints. The plate should be perfect when it's created. When someone is tasked with making alterations to the plate, it would be easy to mishandle it (especially at the top edge of the plate) and create tiny trenches on the raised letters which, in-turn, create pools of ink which bleed over. Those bleed points are all in the same spots... so it does not seem to be an operator error.

Why grade it at all? Post pictures of it in the "Grade-My-Comic" section, and use the average from there to print a nice personalized label for it. You already have it in a really nice hardcase. I'd be worried about other people (mail person included) handling it in order to have it graded.

I don't like the look of it as "an original". The dot matrix lines on her legs appear to me as an artifact of a printed scan.

Maybe try naming the set (step #5) something other than what the Category name is?

Any other BIG books out there with differences that can only be seen on the inside? Differing prints that are visible through the case don't bother me as much as the Superman 1.

No Dot is second state. Broke off or chiseled off... either way. In order to add a dot to the plate, they'd have to re-make the plate (at the very least that whole line "No .1"). If they remade the plate, surely they'd get it correct that time ("No. 1" - see where the space is?). Structurally, I feel that you can't rely on just drilling a new post (dot) into the plate and it withstanding the 100k's print run.

I'm looking forward to grabbing my winnings. They WILL be cracked out as I'm looking for interior content (More Fun).

Have you posted your winning's in the PBA thread? Or perhaps you can post the DA2 $30k copy in my Flanagan thread?

They used to. Not so sure anymore... I believe it's at their discretion.

My recollection was the odd number issues after 150... I'd need to look it up as well... FINE. I'll do it. 150, 151, 153, 155, 157, 159, 161, 163... looks like that's it (checking through 170 of GCD).
