I'd swear I passed on a copy many moons ago, but I can't be sure. Not a cover that stood out enough for me. I don't have one. There's a 7.5 and 5.5 on the census.

Are there any thoughts here as to why it's easier to find higher grade Pictorial Romances than the other Baker romance stuff? Maybe a distribution thing?

CGC should have centered it on the tray. They did that to a couple of mine and now the display value is a bit less. The slipping micro-chamber paper doesn't help with presentation either. All in all, who cares?!! IT'S A 4.5 BEAUTY!

Anyone have a high grade TAR18? I hope that mine will grade as high as 4.5! I'm going to wait a long while though. Nearly everything I got back from CGC was a full grade lower than I expected. They're being real picky right now....

Yep, most of my tall issues suffer blunt traumatic impact across the top where they didn't fit with the rest of the comics. Not by my doing... I bought a TAR44 off ebay for $100 many years ago, and the seller then couldn't find the book. Money was fully refunded, but I still felt shorted. Hope you get your copy!

There were only a few copies from APC that I was ever interested in. 18 was not one of them, but I'm pretty sure I've seen at least one copy for sale in the last 5 years.

I just got this back from CGC today. I was hoping for a higher grade only because I've never seen another copy with such amazing reds. Turned out to be a 4.0. Oh well.

I assume it's Flesk. John has used kickstarter on the last few Schultz books and it has served them well. If they go the kickstarter route, would we not see them on comic store shelves?

The Flash Gordon complimentary copy is listed as "Army Giveaway" on the census with only two copies graded (so-far) - a 9.0 and a 7.5. It is published by King Features Syndicate. Strangely, the census has it listed after issue 11. My copy is not YET certified...
