On CAF occured a while back and folks who wanted more clear thumbnails had to re-upload.

It may be related to the size and type of image. I recall same issue at CAF. Try replacing image but ensure name of file is changed and if using photoshop save as Baseline Standard

Great idea for thread. These were almost all giveaways. The Marvel buttons may have been from the late 70's but my nearest LCS had metric tons of the Cap and Thing and gave them out in the mid 80s. Spidey was from my Dad no idea where here got it...The History of DC I believe came with the purchase of the hardcover...? will dig out some more.

Here are few I had handy. The DC Universe came with the hardcover. The Marvel's may have been issued in the late 70's but my nearest LCS was giving them out in the mid 80's. The Vigilante not sure if giveaway or a purchase around time the first series was issued. Long time ago and I was very young.

i dont sell comics! Does your data not show the that Feb was nothing more than a spike? IMHO the book will be under 200 by June. Spending 300+ now is likley not wise The point again is in modern times its foolish to buy any comic at or near going rate when red hot especially if its a DC

I see Booster Gold 1 is now barely scraping $300. Still higher than last Dec but way off the $600-$750 it was getting in Feb Never buy a book when it's hot, especially a DC!

I notice She-Hulk 1 and Rom 1 direct sales are down to pre-pandemic levels. The newsstand version are getting very close to those levels as well. Sadly excellent books (content speaking) like the entire Gaiman Sandman run are now sinking with no end in sight. As for myself I've taken the opportunity to pick up a bunch of Bronze and Copper books at what are now in the 2018 or 2019 price range. I don't sell comics just some books I wanted.

Wish I could dig up the old post of mine from 2021 that mentioned in 1-2 years it would be under $500. Now no reason to think that next year at this time it could be $350 or less in CGC 9.8 with WP Worth repeating: During the pandemic bubble, Investors/Flippers/Speculators were buying books like this [Eternals 1] and selling them for a profit. Nearly every Non-DC book was viewed as a sure thing. So-Called Online "influencers" were all downplaying that books could EVER go down. Skilled Comic book market naysayers were scoffed at because times were good. There was no such thing as overpaying for a book because prices rose and there was no end in sight. How could the sky be falling when everything was rising in value? ENTER THE BEAR! The scoffing included many at these CGC forums. To all those that scoffed, I TOLD YOU SO!

In the early 90s as I recall AT25 was hot and jumped to about $100 in NM. By the 1995 or there about it dropped to $25. I received a 9.4 on my $20 copy I picked up in 1996.

IMHO same chance of a 9.8 being damaged down to 9.6 by during pressing and associated handling as there is from the signature and that associated handling.

Sadly dishonesty is not atypical of sellers. They view the mistake by cgc as hitting a jackpot
