  1. WOW. 110k for a 1.0? I stand corrected. But I still maintain Cap 1's time as the #3 book is coming.
  2. Think Cap 1 HAS surpassed Bat 1 already, and MAY already be positioned as the overall #3 book, ahead of Supes 1. I think the current hierarchy may be Tec 27, Action 1, Cap 1. NEVER thought that fugly 1.5 Cap 1 would go 70k, that's crazy.
  3. Has this book's time already arrived? Would a Supes 1 in exactly that same shape command 70k?? That copy is UGLY, even for a 1.5.
  4. No way in hell you'll find a complete copy of either book for less than 200k. If anyone has a complete Action 1 for sale for 150, count me very interested.
  5. Don't think anyone will ever find a complete copy of Tec 27 or Action 1 for less than 200k now, even extensively restored/trimmed whatever.
  6. Thought that cover art would go for a fortune, as the only known surviving production material for Action 1.
  7. 461? That's really weak IMO. I think if it had been a Tec 27 in the same grade it would have gone 600k. I think an argument can be made for Tec 27 being the real #1 book in the hobby now, seriously.
  8. About to be a flurry of activity with the Action #1. Sitting at 377k at the moment.
  9. It's heading toward a spot as the #3 book in the hobby, within the next decade. Always thought it was a more important book than Supes 1, Bat 1, Marvel 1 or AA 16.
  10. Still a couple of days left to go. Craziness. I'm betting it goes well over 60k. Is this now going to be a 40k per point book?
  11. Present day commercial potential. If this character was done RIGHT in the DC cinematic universe the film would make a killing. The character should resonate today. It's just cool as hell, dark, with a power set beyond any character in the DCU. Gotta think it eventually happens.
  12. No complete copy of Tec 27 can be had now for less than 250k now. Raw, restored, whatever. Think I'm wrong? Find one for less. Not happening. Edit: I think a blue label 1.0 fetches 250k now, as does a lower grade (say 3.0)extensively restored copy. New jumping on point for the book is 250k any way you slice it.
  13. Soon no complete copy of 27, regardless of resto, PQ etc. will be had for less.
  14. What would a 5.0 w. moderate amateur resto bring now? 60k? More?
  15. Snagged AMF V2#10. About the fifth copy I've bid on, finally paydirt.
  16. I've really wanted a copy of #5 for a while now. I tapped out on the 2.5 copy in the Heritage auction when it got to 2k last night. Not too long ago it seemed this title was deader than a dodo. Ditto Wonderworld. Obviously no longer the case. What's made the Fox books such objects of lust/frenzy recently? Great covers and content, sure, but that's always been so.
  17. Just one more reason to skip it. Every year it gets less appealing.
  18. The new Avengers movie is only 10 months away. Those other Infinity books are cheap now.
