  1. Just having fun but I am curious what you all would choose over an AF 15, in that condition at least. Personally I think the other Marvel mega keys are going to slowly close that gap as time goes by.....but never catch up to AF15. And 18K is about spot on for a 3.0. Probably get one for less at a show. I pay 6 bucks a month to gocollect . com to have easy access to the sales figs. Can't go by what a lot of these shyster sellers are asking for it. Huh. Maybe its your username. Just kidding. I wonder why that was. May I ask what grade it was?
  2. You are offered 1 choice at first. You don't know about the bonus offers at that point. Both of those choices are close to the same money wise. If you choose choice A you get the bonus offer. You don't know about the Super Bonus offer yet. If you still choose A then you get the super bonus offer. Actual values approximate in 3.0 Choice A 18,000 Choice B 18,000 Choice B + Bonus 24,000 Choice B + Bonus + Super Bonus 28,000 But its not just about current market prices its about future prospective value, BUT most of all its about personal preference.
  3. Ok another Amazing Fantasy amazing fantasy of mine, hope I'm not being annoying. Choice A- AF #15 cgc 3.0 or Choice B- Hulk #1 cgc 3.0 and a FF 1 cgc 3.0 Bonus annoying question for those who still chose choice A: What if an ASM #1 cgc 3.0 was added to choice B? And now a Super Bonus annoying question for those who still chose Choice A: What if an ASM #1 cgc 3.0 and an X-Men #1 cgc 3.0 was added to Choice B?
  4. Thanks Abestos. Price lowered to 340.00 still free ship to US Addresses.
  5. Yeah I think I'm going to go that route and maybe try to keep the ASM #3 because of The Doc.
  6. Hi everybody. Seeking advice and thoughts. I have a ASM issues #1 -2.0, #2- 5.5, #3 - 6.5, #4 7.0, #5 - 7.5 , and #6 7.0. All CGC graded. I also have a ungraded AF 15 that is pretty bad but complete with a lot of tape on it. I'm gonna submit and I think it will come back a .5. I did the research and If I sold them all I should get at least 20K for that bunch. ( I won't go over 20K no matter what because of tax reasons and I couldn't sell until 2020). I'm on the fence decision wise. My options: A - sell them all and get a nice looking AF 15 3.0 B - Keep issues 2 through 6 as they are and sell the AF 15 .5 and the ASM 1 2.0 then use those proceeds to get a ASM 5.0 or possibly a 6.0. Then I would have a nice ASM 1 through 6 run but no AF 15. What's your opinion? We'd like to know. Thanks

  12. Captain America Annual 3 seems to be the 1st Marvel. https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Category:1976,_January DC seems to have began in March 1976 on 2 issues. https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Category:1976,_March I had always thought Daredevil 131 was the 1st Marvel, with that weird yellow barcode
  13. 9.0 on comiclink yesterday. Put that in your Tesla and drive it. I'm just jealous thats all.
  14. Ah I should have known. You are a veteran for sure. Ok you guys have all made good Pro Green Label points. I'm convinced. You know about 2 weeks ago there was a FF#1 4.5 Green Label on ebuy. It was posted in the "other Bronze Age superheroes" section. Would have got it for 3051.00 but 1 guy wanted it more. A 15K book for 3K just because of a "coupon" cut out of page 12..... I'll take it! And John Denver? He was good. Too bad his hobby wasn't comics instead of that other thing.
  15. How did you make 42,000 posts in 2 1/2 years? Thats almost 50 posts a day, every day. How'd you do that?
  16. So 1 came back blue and one came back green? They both had the same flaw which was missing pages. That's what I'm talking about. 2 books-Same flaw-Different Label. That is the definition of inconsistency.
  17. Man I agree with all that. Very well stated. I scan through the new listings on ebuy of Silver and Bronze everyday. I see everything that goes up. And the majority of sellers seem to be hoping for a sucker to come by. Everyday I see a few I need but the asking price is just out of hand. It is frustrating. I sell a lot, usually true low starting bid auctions with plenty of photos, but when I do sell buy it now I ask fair marker value and I move the book rather than let it sit. Its just money, sell it for a fair price and move on. Another thing is the ones who put "make offer". You make an offer and they counter with a 5 dollar discount. I think as fellow hobbyists we shouldn't try to screw each other over.
