  10. Me too. 1st appearance. And man that 20% buyers premium is crazy, plus probably US sales tax on top of that. Superman 1 5.5 went for 456K. By far the most expensive non 1st appearance around.
  11. Bat 1 went for 175/210 and Cap 1 went for 190/228. So if they were in the same grade Bat 1 would have won by a lot.
  12. So the 3.0 is missing probably 1/6th to 1/4 of one page and it get Greened. The .5 a "Large Piece" of a page and its still Blue. Both comics are missing a part of a page but have different labels. It just seems inconsistent to me how they apply the Green Label. Same with the writing part of it. This one has writing but its blue (and didn't seem to even affect the grade) and this one has writing but its green. Like I said it just seems inconsistent.
  13. I was thinking Everly Brothers not Cars.
  14. Thanks for your time and that very complete answer. Very appreciated.
  15. Hi everybody who bothered to click on this thread, Serious Question: 1st I am not a fan of signatures unless its Jack Kirby or Steve Ditko. I have no SS's in my collection. However I have a Dark Mansion of Forbidden Love #2 in CGC 9.4 Blue label that came from the "#1 Neal Adams Registry Set" that was sold off on comiclink I believe in 2016. Only 4 graded higher. Only 1 signature series exists of 39 graded copies and its a pathetic 9.0. Gross. I would like to have it signed by Mr. Adams and I could find him no problem at a convention as I am in his general area. I've seen him signing many times. Just wondering how CGC goes about getting a graded comic signed in their presence for a yellow label for an artist or writer to sign. The case has to be cracked obviously. Do they crack it? Do I crack it? Do they make Neal Adams do it? Anybody know the process? Plus if he can't sign it in front of me I don't want it because I have an exact spot where I want his John Hancock ( go head, have fun with that) which is on the bottom right of the beautiful and frightened young womans lovely white dress, in black letters. (I've seen too many Stan Lee defacements over the years). Final thing is I have read about a risk of your comic coming back a lower grade when being transformed from a Blue Label to a Yellow. Is this true? Ok thanks in advance
  16. That's what you should do. btw I thik its worth it to pay the extra for a higher tier or fast track, for health reasons of course.
  17. I completely agree. At this point I would "trade in" my FF 4 for a Daredevil 1 of the same grade. I know going for an X-Men one would cost more. And selling is costly I know. I usually figure it to be around 15% on ebuy between them and PP. Paypal, what a scam don't get me started on them. And now in my state I have to pay 7% in sales tax when I buy. I'm gong to start using comiclink more for my expensive stuff mostly to avoid paypal plus lower the risk factor. Well getting off topic. Back on topic FF 4 is a great book I know, I'm just not that into it. But I'm a hypocrite too because I love my Avengers 4 and I never want to sell that. Then again its Captain Freaking America we're talkin.
  18. I have mixed feelings about FF 4 because sure its an early FF issue and sure its the 1st SA Sub-Mariner but its far from his 1st appearance. He was gone for 7 years in the mid 50's /very early 60's just like Captain America. Sure its a key but I feel its a bit over-rated. I'm thinking about selling my 4.0 and putting it towards a Marvel Mega key, maybe an X-Men 1 or a Daredevil 1.
  19. I know I'm sorry. I just have a kudos page which I started after about 5 sales.
  20. We had a smooth problem free transaction. Nice person to do business with. Thanks zeezee
