I, like many fans, put George on my Mount Rushmore of comic book artists. His talent is as undeniable as is warmth and love for his fans. What a great man and artist. His art and the way he treated others will always be an inspiration to me. Thanks for being you George!

Imagine the comics landscape if these two giants chose a different career path other than comics. These two were the artistic fathers of so many comic artists. What would John Byrne, Frank Miller, or Art Adams art look like without the Kirby/Adams influence? If backed into a corner I'd pick Kirby, but it's like asking do you prefer cake or ice cream.... it's both... it's always both!

Jack, Stan, Steve and now Neal- the guys who really sparked our interest in comics have now all left us. Thank you guys for blessing us with your imagination and talent.

I feel for you Glen, I hope you'll eventually get your artwork! For all of us collectors, next time someone requests a buyer to pay via friends and family, send them a link to this thread, and tell them you'd prefer to have recourse if the art doesn't get shipped for whatever the reason. Think about it, we have a company that will basically make you whole if you run into a bad seller, and all you have to do is pay 4%. If they wont do the deal without you using friends and family. Ask them to send you the art first and you'll pay them with friends and family after receiving the art ... "No?!? What's the matter don't you trust me?"

It's funny because you can see their path is pretty clear to gain some ground on HA but it seems like they are happy to stay stagnant. To quote my buddy's grandpa: "If you ain't growing, you're dying." - Grandpa Carver

HA's new upsell feature suggestion- If you lose on an auction lot, you for a small $100 fee, can have your name OFFICIALLY announced as the UNDERBIDDER.. for $200 they will announce it while ringing a bell, not banging the gong, that is for something else entirely.

Oh to be young again... once the Cabal and snipers are unleashed those low prices will be swimming with the fishes : )
