I hate to be the wanker, but I don't think that was ever a 9.9. The lower left corner has some wear and there are spine ticks along the black line border on the left.

Spine ticks are from the wrapping during production. Doesn't affect grade.

you can do "want to buy" but the rules state you must list a price. So generally people say what you are looking for trade wise and put a ridiculously high BIN to satisfy the rules.

So you have to start somewhere value wise in the trade post and go from there

    good luck

To be clear, you don't have to list a price in the want to buy section.  You do in the regular selling forum.  If you are doing this in the regular selling section you  would need to post trade only in the title, and place a value on the book or books you will accept in trade value

    12. If posting a trading thread you must list a dollar value price for the book that you WILL accept in TRADE VALUE, and you MUST put "TRADE ONLY" in the title of your thread if you will not accept money.

Is this a record setting price for this copy of Donald Duck as I guess they must be getting back in vogue after being in the cooler for a long time:  :luhv:

Sold for a rather astounding $90K and big congrats to the consignor of this book here who I believe is one of our very own here.  (thumbsu  :applause:

I fell out of my chair when I saw this price.

Nothing in any previous benchmarks would've predicted anything like this.

Didn't you have a 9.8 at one point.

    Good morning,

Thanks for your message. We work closely with our manufacturer to ensure that we receive only the highest quality holders, and we take great care to protect these holders during our grading process. The significant size and extreme clarity of these holders, however, makes it virtually impossible to prevent small scratches and scuffs that may occur during careful handling and in transit. As a result, minor scratches and scuffs that do not distract from the encapsulated book are considered to be acceptable.

If you feel that the scuffs you are seeing fall outside of this acceptable range, please email a few pictures to our office and we can review and advise you on how to proceed.  You can email us at: submissions@cgccomics.com.

    Thank you!

Are these scuff marks intentional to get rid of newton rings?

Where are you or any other moderators when its the same problematic board members over and over again?  Sent you a DM a while back and never received a response.

I don't answer questions about how other people are moderated.  I suggest using the ignore function.  The current path will lead to time off.
