  1. Yes, since that's Coulson's first 616 appearance, but not his first comic appearance overall. Coulson's first appearance ever in comics is in the non-616 "Iron Man/Incredible Hulk/Nick Fury" one shot in 2009. The timeline of early Agent Coulson appearances seems to go like this: Iron Man/Incredible Hulk/Nick Fury one shot, Cinematic Universe - February 2009: Page where he first appears: Iron Man 2: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. one shot, Cinematic Universe, first cover appearance: November 2010 Battle Scars #1, first 616 appearance, although not referred to as Agent Coulson until Battle Scars #6 - November 2011 Where's the love for the Walmart Exclusive Iron Man: Movie Special Issue #1? It came out in September/October of 2008 and features Coulson throughout. Here's some pics from the Walmart Exclusive Iron Man: Movie Special Issue #1. Ashcan sized, packed in with Wal-Mart copies of the DVD (released around/on 9/30/2008). The story is essentially a Coulson solo story taking place during the first Iron Man film, with Coulson featured as early as p. 2 and named throughout. Here's a couple of pics including the cover.

  3. Anybody have anymore information on these pieces suggested as OA that just popped up on eBay? http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Walking-Dead-COMICON-Artwork-/121450418808?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c47025278 http://www.ebay.com/itm/The-Walking-Dead-COMICON-Artwork-/121450422646?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c47026176 The BINs are really low, but the colors don't seem right. No reflection in the inks.
  4. Totally cool piece that got me thinking. What are the chances of this and the unfinished #25 from the regular series ever seeing print once the reprints are done? I think it's definitely going to happen. I'm not sure if it they are going to use the art that was done in the early 90s for issue 25, but I bet Buckingham/Gaiman are going to pick up with issue 25.
  5. Popped the Miracleman Triumphant original art on eBay - here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=201100792696
  6. I know it's off-topic, but I've got this page from the criminally unreleased Miracleman Triumphant for sale/trade. Pencils by Mike Deodato. If interested, feel free to PM or drop me a line at veronesepk@gmail.com. - Keith
  7. +2. I don't think it is real - too many signs of pixel softening around the logo, an artifact that would not be in an image created by someone with the proper logo assets.
  8. Grabbed p. 16 - excited to get Jesus Samurai with the new kids.
  9. It could be long gone - Splash Page doesn't display an immediate hold online from what I remember.
  10. Where does Bernie's death fit within a religious purview of predestination? Discuss.
  11. Anybody hear if the art from 127 is going up on Splash Page?
  12. It's the Batman Beyond issue IMO. Came out the same day as Batman 700, but unlike 700, he's the central figure of the story. The first story to really make him a part of the DCU.
  13. The B&W hastings variant is a really nice cover too. It's definitely overlooked at the moment.
  14. As a man who lives outside of Birmingham, Alabama, this comic might as well be a documentary.
  15. Still have the Walking Dead #48 half splash - not bad considering a 119 splash sold for 3k at Splashpage this week: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7328788#Post7328788
  16. Can't wait for tomorrow's issue, trying to not stare at that preview too hard...
  17. Slightly off-topic (Still Walking Dead, but pertains to OA), I've got a Walking Dead #48 page listed for for trade/possible sale over in the OA Marketplace: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=7328798&Main=325802#Post7328798
