Just got a haul back from CGC, this is one of them. Only 6 on the census so I guess it's in the rare category. I dunno if I'll post them all here, but I will in the LB Cole thread as they are all his covers. Here ya go:

#45 is a great cover. I showed it to my wife and her eyes just about popped out of her head as there's so much going on with all of that color. You may be able to see the chip out of the bottom. It's the best copy I could find after looking for years, and I've yet to see a better one. I'm sure they are out there, maybe in people's collections I'm not sure. However I'd put a lot of these funny animal books up with just about any other in finding really nice copies. Maybe it's that kids got a hold of them and messed them up. Jeez... didn't people realize that comics aren't for kids? What's wrong with people? That's a great looking TTLR 23 - CONGRATS! I'm still waiting on my copy's grade - it's killing me!

I'm not sure I knew CGC just did CVR like pages. Question - will they do the same to actual cover proofs? Is the cost the same?

I'm in MA and I get 3-4 things in the mail asking if I want to sell (I don't) from realtors I've never used. If I had a home phone I'm sure they'd be calling me too.

I've been going through my GA books lately and was reminded of a few holes in my Cole collection. Just got this one for a decent price.

A few good LB Cole auctions last night (anyone win any???). Nice to see this book get some love. HA had it as a VG with some tape at the top & bottom spine corners. I thought this was a pretty strong result, but overdue for this book. If you haven't seen one, it's a huge book with a square spine:

Great books! I saw your sale of that Pop 15 - it did really well! (also - loved the description!) I just sent mine in to get graded, along with my copy of TTLR #8(1). That is a book that never pops up. It took me forever to find! A few of his romance covers are really far under the radar. I think there's only 5 of that one on the census, and that's a pretty nice copy you've got there!

That's cool. I just know what I see other boardies talking about here and what I see selling on the bay. I haven't really bought but a few titles in the last few years, but for 15-20 years before that I bought nearly every Marvel book. So I'm going through my collection to see what's worth a few $$$'s that's worth getting graded. I still see those other books getting a few hundred (UF 4 / SG) so I sent them in along with a few others. I'm just curious as to what else I may have in the vault that I can dig up. The thread was in a lull so I thought I'd take advantage.

I'll contribute with a fun one. I used to work in a WB Studio Store and sold the animation art. I left with a few cool items, but one that I didn't buy when I had the chance was the Women of Gotham piece. 20 years later I finally tracked one down. This isn't mine, but it's the same piece:

Ok, I'll bite.... What are some of the modern Marvel keys that are doing well? I know 1st Spider-Gwen, Ult. Fallout #4, but what else is moving? Young Avengers? Immortal Hulk? Venom issues? All input welcome.

I'm not sure I saw this coming.... According to HA's site: GaG #6: 30 total, 1 higher, 3 in 9.2 BBW #115: 69 total, 2 higher, 2 in 9.2 Ok, so fewer have come out of the woodwork... but outsold by 5K?!?!?!?! WoW!!!!

Only a few days to go...

Congrats! I wasn't one of the bidders, but I'm sending in my copy to be graded in my next submission! That's one of only 9 graded copies so far. Very cool!
