  1. it sounds like you are getting a collection from someone and you will sell it for him. Make sure he understands the terms up front, in writing. Are the books in order? Bagged and boarded? If not, who pays to get them ready for sale? 25-30% plus expenses seems fair to me. Prepping collections can be time-consuming and should be handled differently than your fee for selling it., imo.
  2. You have no idea of the journey you are about to begin.
  3. Never heard of it. Is it a Bill Goldberg biopic?
  4. I'm trying to think of a movie that I thought sucked at the 20 minute mark but that redeemed itself afterward. 2001 comes to mind, but the beginning was more odd than sucky. Everyones experiance is different so if someone can give me an example that fits the bill, I'm open to suggestions.
  5. Watchman stuck to the original premise? I don't go to movies ,pre-judging them on if it is a DC or Marvel movie. I liked the first Red, and had no idea it was based on a comic. Same with The Road to Perdition, and even Kick . I loved the first three Spiderman movies. Didn't care for the middle trilogy but like the new ones. I love the Titans series, although not crazy about the Batman either. I was looking forward to the new Batman movie. I thought it sucked. I'm glad you liked it. It's a shame you can't be mature and accept that others see things differently, but that is not my problem.
  6. They need to start hiring vertically challenged people so when they drop the boxes, they have less distance to fall.
  7. When you need to bring up forty year old movies to make a point, the point may not be worth bringing up. Man of Steel- didn't see. Batman vs. Superman- walked out about halfway thru. Snyders JL was good, burt I saw the original version first and it was mediocre Watchman- meh. The first Superman was in the 1970s and not very relevant to todays discussions. I'll give you DC was better than Marvel at movies in the 70s and 80s. The fact that these were done by outside agencies with DC having no imput might have helped.
  8. Gut the last twenty minutes, and edit out another 15 minutes along the way and you might have a B- movie. Why is it DC can put out above average tv shows for the most part, but can't do a whole movie?
  9. Sell them both. Houses are a thing of the past. Invest in Pym Pads.
  10. I thought Eternals was bad and won't watch Shang Chi. As I said, I had high hopes for this movie and wish I could say it was great. Or good, or even watchable.
  11. Thanks, so that should make these earlier? It didn't make my pictures but there is a c in a circle symbol in the corner.
  12. I won these at an auction. They were advertised as cells. I paid $6 for the lot of five Any information would be appreciated they are drawn on transparency’s, with a white sheet behind them. They seem to have some age to them perhaps 1980s?
  13. I recently picked up a set of early 1960s Matchbox and was surprised by their size. Unlike most products, modern matchboxes are bigger than their predecessors.
  14. I'm trying to think if there was a ten minute segment that I enjoyed, and I can't think of one. The movie had some good parts but they were few and far between. I think I could gobble together ten minutes of decent action, but not of storyline. I'd have walked out but it was my living room.
  15. I like Batman. I liked every movie except for the one with the Penguin. I don't know who Robert Patterson is, except he was in a series of movies I have not seen. I was looking forward to watching this, and I cleared three hours to do so. Thirty minutes in, I was on my laptop. An hour in and I was picture in picture with CNN. I was quite disappointed.
  16. This Batman movie sucks. No other way to say it. It's disjointed and boring. Save your time and money.
  17. Buy the 121 and pickup a nice copy of the Marvel Tales that reprints the cover and the story of 122.
