Once again, thank you in advance to anyone who stops by to lend a thought on the grade. This is my third and final raw copy of Blue Bolt 113 in the PGM section. The white you see protruding from the book is micro chamber paper. I insert 3 sheets per book... one inside the front cover, one in the centerfold and one inside the back cover.

Copy B.... I am posting Copy C in a moment. I SHOULD HAVE added a notation to my previous listings, but all of the copies I have posted contain up to 3 sheets of micro chamber paper inserted inside the front and back covers as well as the centerfold. The bright white paper makes any little nick much more pronounced.

This copy looks pretty solid overall but has some obvious chipping on the left side of the back cover. There is also a black scribble (or maybe a printing defect) on the "W" in the title on the front cover. This is clearly not color touch, but looks more like an accidental marker smudge. Otherwise an all-around nice copy.

One book at a time. See pinned thread for PGM guidelines
Thank you. I will fix this asap.

Thank you in advance for any and all feedback. This is another personal favorite, and I feel lucky to have these copies. This one's tricky, as I've seen some high grade (7.0-8.0 range) with pieces out of the cover, but I guess CGC is a bit more lenient due to the unforgiving dark background? All three copies look pretty solid, although Copy C has some back cover creases and soiling. Otherwise, quite attractive.
This is Copy A...

Thank you in advance for any and all feedback. I love this book and was shocked to see how much a copy sold for recently (and I'm definitely on the hunt for a nice copy if anyone has one, hint, hint) but I feel lucky to have these two. So, without further ado...
Copy A looks pretty sweet, save for a sticker pull on the lower right corner in the word "Monster".

That's the funny part - I'm basically in the DFW area where they are and one of my auction wins took around 2 weeks or something to get to me. I could've walked the 30 miles over there and picked it up faster. I even called them up a week after to see if they'd just combine my win from that week's auction with the one from the previous, but they said they couldn't because the prior win was already on the shipping floor or something. Despite that, I don't think it shipped out for another 3 or 4 days. lol. With CL, it's more varied. Sometimes I've had orders ship within a couple of days while other times it's taken over a week or two (can't remember exactly how long). The only place I've had consistently fast shipping is MyComicShop. Again, they're in the DFW area, so I kind of expect it. They ship the day or the day after I pay for the item, and I usually get it in a couple of days.
I’ve had good luck with the MCS, too. Fast, friendly service.

No telling what Heritage is feasting on with their 20% BP + shipping + CC fee. Maybe I should get into the auction business. lol. I think ComicConnect's shipping for the 1 comic I won (my first time bidding on ComicConnect!) was something like $16 + the 3% CC fee which was very reasonable (to me, at least) and no BP on the one comic I won (yay!).
I only bought a couple of comics in the last CL and my shipping was $50. I don't know how shipping is calculated, but I'm guessing the value of the items shipped makes a difference due to insurance. I say this because my shipping costs vary from auction to auction with them. For example, I paid $50 shipping for 2 books this time and paid $55 for shipping 7 books a month ago, but the totals on the orders were similar. But if my recent purchase had been at Heritage, it would've been a lot more painful since the BP charge alone would've been another almost-$300. And then they tack the CC fee and shipping on top of that. lol.
More often than not I receive my Heritage books faster in spite of the fact that they are halfway across the country in Texas.
I just wish CLink wasn’t so shellfish with their shipping fees.

Hey that’s a lot of money to some people 😒
It's a lot to me, personally, but still tiny in comparison to the high-end books in that auction (and in this thread).

These jokers just charged me $65 to ship ONE book about a four-hour drive to my house, and it will still take at least 3 days to reach me.

Love this issue. One of the most underrated Coles.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I was estimating a 4.0-4.5, which sounds like I was in the ballpark.

The bottom staple is "normal". As for the top staple, there's some obvious creasing along the spine, but I cannot see a place where the top staple would have been punched in its normal place, but the staple IS visible inside the cover... maybe the top staple was punched under the cover (?). Anyway, the page quality is excellent throughout, and the centerfold is attached. Curious to hear people's thoughts on the grade...
Note: The white you see sticking out of the book is a piece of micro chamber paper. I insert them in all my books.

I know it's probably too much to hope for, but I think I will be visiting that area in August and was wondering if there are any good comic shops to visit? I plan to fly into Calgary, drive to Banff, Canmore, and Jasper and mostly stay in those areas. Mostly looking for Golden Age but I dabble in other eras, too.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated! Thanks.

His Batman #1 took 6 years.

If this thread continues, all operations will come to a halt. I am not settling in public, and I can see CGC Mike has a serious conflict in interest. If you think cancel all at once is the solution, go try that out at a bank.
This thread has so much libel, speculative, and mis-information, there is no way I can get my point across. Think whatever you want to think, but this thread will cause clients more harm than good. While Mike allows all this to occur, a blatant quadruple violation of CGC terms of use, he has been adamant to stifle me. That is fine, the client who are creating the libel, inaccurate, public display will have tyo wait until they respect the law before I will communicate. But, if CGC Mike thinks this is all okay, I have top secret CGC communications about settlements, I will post later, if not banned.
This is a YOU problem that you made into an everyone else problem.
Instead of vague, meandering answers and goofy threats, why don’t you specifically explain how/why you’ve had people’s extremely valuable books for 3-5 years.
why don’t you respond to specific customers like Quicksilver and Kamenlite to tell them 1) Do you still have their books, and 2) The specific steps you will take to return them asap.
They have waited long enough. They have been patient enough. You created this situation, not them.
Now man up and make this right, and stop it with the juvenile posts about “libel”.

Stole?
Has anyone even looked up the definition of libel? I can point out plenty, and very damaging ones.
Libel
a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation; a written defamation.
Does that mean you gave it back to him?
