    Omnibus? What's the point? Do the reprints in Omnibus include all the shorts, ads and letter pages or just the stories as in the Archives? Is the paper every bit as right as is that of the Archives?

    The artwork on that cover is really lousy. Is that one of Jack Kirby's early efforts? That's another book that should be returned to your point of purchase to get your dime back.

    You're right. The fellow with the cat is kind of ugly and the colour reproduction on that book is really bad. You should return it to Fox publications and get your dime back.

    Here are scans of a couple more of the Green Lantern books from my collection: The #11 was the first Green Lantern I ever read as a kid and it left a profound mark on my impressionable young mind. It more so than any other single comic left within me the seed of what would turn out to be a lifelong interest in comics.

    That one has great eye appeal for a 7.0. I would not have sold it.

    Keep in mind though that they just couldn't be found in "decent" grades. What dealers called NM in those days would be only Fine by today's standards - and DCs in even that condition weren't commonly displayed at shows, and certainly weren't in the bins at your friendly neighbourhood comic shop. Today's high prices have brought the supply out of the woodwork.

    That's a great looking copy. Not that I have any sympathy though for Metropolis trying to flip it at such a premium.

    Brave & the Bold 23 has a very similar full page ad for Flash 106. I've put a scan of the ad on the front of a T-shirt and a scan of my copy of Flash 106 on the back.
