  1. Pics of CFL items, board and other games, or specifically the Canadian Armchair Football game? I'm asking because I have a wealth of pictures of CFL cards and other items as well as pictures of just about every other board game and paint set you see in that cabinet. But I've not yet taken pictures of the CFL game. I mean it's not even 35 years old so I classify it as part of my "new" stuff.
  2. Thank you! Here are some pictures of my Casper lunch box and thermos:
  3. My God man, is there no end to your Madness? I certainly hope not! I want to see more, much more. And it's good to know that there are people whose collecting compulsions exceed my own.
  4. Oh wow! I love Halloween candy boxes! They just scream forties and fifties goodness. They're a great collectible. A fellow posted his collection of roughly twenty boxes on the UMA forum. He managed to annoy me despite the coolness of the boxes by starting a new thread every time he posted more boxes. And I'd told him right off to just add to the initial thread he started to make it easier to find all his boxes in one place.
  5. Why then did you buy the restored copy as well?
  6. The Top Cat TV cartoon show was another ratings hit for Hanna-Barbera in 1961. It spawned a Dell title as did so many other successful cartoon shows: Here are scans of mine: 1 2 3
  7. Here's a picture of the top of the cabinet in which I display my lunch box and thermos collection: And here are some pictures of the Universal Monsters lunch box from my collection:
  8. , I only have about a dozen or so but they are all good ones. One of these days maybe I will show some if you want. Yes please!
  9. Good stuff! Now you've got a replacement for work. I love lunch boxes! I wish I had many more in my own collection.
  10. Batman! Why are you not editing a fouled-up multi-quote? And was the multi-quote necessary or even desirable in the first place?
  11. But I did score a lot of almost three dozen Harvey Felix the Cat comics from a Heritage auction. Here are scans of some: i
  12. Nice cover! With which issue did the "All New Stories" start?
  13. Thanks for the tip! Seven or eight years ago I kept losing out on Harvey file copy runs on Heritage because of the hidden reserve. I finally got a bunch of Little Audrey comics and a few Spooky and Wendy comics though.
  14. That's a beautiful cover! It's actually astonishing how quickly the cover art on The Fantastic Four improved over the first three years.
  15. Here are scans of my Dell Outer Limits comics: 2 3 5 6
  16. So few pedigreed collections are 1950's centered or even contain any Atlas titles at all from the 1950's. Off hand I can't think of any. Can anyone else think of such a collection?
  17. I'd love to build up a collection of dozens of Harvey Dagwood and Blondie comics! I grew up with the Blondie newspaper comic strip that ran for decades in my hometown London Free Press. Not to mention that Blondie was stacked to beat hell.
  18. While the seed of my lifelong love of comics was planted a year earlier when I saw a copy of Adventures of the Fly on the local drugstore's magazine stand, it was in 1962 that it really took root. That was the year that I discovered both the Green Lantern and Justice League of America titles. I'm not sure how those two titles as well as the The Flash had escaped my notice prior to that, but I'll just say that my interest in comics really burgeoned after discovering those DC titles. Here in alphabetical order from my comics published in 1962 are my fifteen favourite DC covers:
  19. Here in alphabetical order are scans from my collection of a baker's dozen of my favourite DC covers from 1964:
