Sabrina and Vampirella. The best.

Only pikers and dilettantes content themselves with a #1 issue. Hardcore Sabrina fans are out to get the entire run!

Hepcat got a reaction from dover in Neal Adams cover gallery thread.
Neal Adams' comic art was a real eye opener when it hit the pages of DC comics in the late 1960's. He raised the bar for comic art. Here are scans of my fifteen favourite Neal Adams' covers from among the comics I have in my collection:

Hepcat reacted to Frisco Larson in Marvel Humor titles ... post 'em here!
My searches have come up empty for a Marvel Humor thread. Some might call it 'Teen Humor' but the area I'm referring to encompasses the Millie, Patsy, Kathy, etc ... titles. Some consider them Romance, but they're usually listed as Humor and not Romance when seen on lists, so they should have their own thread. Some of these comics are pretty tough to find, especially in high grade! So, let's see what you've got!

A wife's condemnation though is proof positive you've got something that's mega cool!

Hepcat got a reaction from Semicentennial in 1st appearances - just the comic equivalent of rookie cards? Oh and post a cover of a 1st appearance book in your collection
Not only the first comic appearance of Deputy Dawg and company, but the first appearance of Silly Sidney and Hashimoto-San as well. Dinky Duck though was already a comics veteran having gained his own title way back in 1951.

Hepcat reacted to paqart in This cover is horrible, and anyone who says otherwise is a liar!
These are all pretty bad or over-rated in my opinion. The worst is the wedding cake, but the newsboy Mac Raboy isn't far behind.

Adding one of my favorites…Sabrina The Teen-Age Witch
….. but as she doesn’t appear on the cover of Archie’s Mad House #22, I’ve included her first cover appearance and first stand-alone issue.

Hepcat reacted to Robot Man in Son of My 50 Year Junk Obsession
I started on the British Invasion, slipped into the psydellic era and moved into the New Wave/Punk era. Still searching out good music that rocks today.
I had a great shirt in the new Wave era. It was a Stiff records promo. It said on the front: “If it ain’t Stiff” and on the back “It ain’t worth a F…”. My wife hated it and tried to throw it away but I always managed to get it back. My younger daughter found it when she was in high school and I gave it to her. She wore it to death.

Hepcat got a reaction from 1950's war comics in The Sports Cards you need to make your life complete!
Yes! Satchell Paige with the legendary St. Louis Browns is certainly a good one!
I don't much like the appearance of either the 1952 or the 1953 Topps Baseball cards though. But the 1954 Topps are among my very favourites!
