  1. You’re right. It’s like a line out of “Sixth Sense”: Now I see em everywhere. . .
  2. I just told my broker to buy, and he says the market is not yet done falling
  3. I humbly disagree. The $50k and over books were hit hard. The $10k and under books did well
  4. I was looking at the Bat 1 4.0, and comparing the PPP from before the market adjustment. The PPP stayed stronger on the Cap 1s that sold
  5. Robot Man, I do enjoy the books you post. It makes me want to go find them and bring em into the fold
  6. Either that, or the hillbillies just got done telling Bucky “ you got a purty mouth”
  7. I take no pleasure in this thread bump, but it’s gotta be said: although Bat 1 seems to have been the previously acknowledged winner between these 2 books, the Coronavirus and marketplace correction have yielded a new truth: the Bat 1 value has fallen more precipitously than the Cap 1 value. Stated another way, the Cap 1 has held its value better than the Bat 1, in these trying times. One need only look to the recent Clink and Heritage auctions for the evidence. I now return you to your regularly scheduled program
  8. Sorry to hear. With the exception of a few bright spots, prices have been down, IMO
  9. W BP, $13k, $13k and $11k, roughly. by contrast, I snagged a great tec 29 page with Batman in action in almost every panel for $500. It was page 2, I think https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/superhero/detective-comics-29-page-2-only-dc-1939-cgc/a/7224-96095.s?ic2=mytracked-lotspage-lotlinks-12202013&tab=MyTrackedLots-101116
  10. I was the underbidder on both the 214 and the 215. You just never see them in high grade. Seems like the 210s are always around, and my level of interest was correspondingly less.
  11. Or just love em as-is for 5 years, and then release them back into the world in the same condition you found em in
  12. Me either. I attended Toledo law school in the late 70’s (I’m old AF)
  13. I need to watch that one. Haven’t yet had the pleasure
