  1. Just got back the one on the left (right for comparison). I like Klaus's signature but not so sure about the position of the remarque...it will grow on me. Also, I just realized I have a newsstand and direct edition. Turnaround on this was actually faster than I thought it would be.
  2. BTW, if you are curious, I did get a good deal on this comic even at a 4.0 ..."pre pandemic rates" (oh, that's gonna be a thing I bet)
  3. I just thought someone would ask that so I changed the post...it's a stain
  4. Picked this up from my local store today. He said 5.0-5.5 but I think it's more of a 4-4.5. Staples are good, no rust. Everything complete. BTW, the back is a stain, not a tear
  5. They have been opening boxes from week of april 12th for three weeks now. I really dont think they know what they are doing anymore
  6. Dood, really??? the OP (WHO EXPRESSED BEING WORRIED!!!! (Slimfast)) was someone different than me..geezus crying out loud...my post was about all this being "a joke" and it's still a joke
  7. I am not worried where my book is..I know where it is....and I usually only do signatures, which haven't seemingly been affected by the volume. I only have one book being 'only graded'...when the official time was 15-30 days. Only this week has CGC unofficially changed the timeline to opening to 15-50 days...this isn't about my getting the books back as quickly as possible..it's about a company that can't seem to be genuine in relaying information. I have worked most of my life in time sensitive businesses , and I know what's important to keeping the customers happy.... It's all about COMMUNICATION, which is the backbone to the reputation of a company...CGC's integrity is kinda going downhill here. So we will see where the dominos fall....I certaonly won't ever go to CGC for grading only services anymore.
  8. Can CGC at least update the week of delivered boxes they are opening ..this would go a long way in relieving our first world problem anxieties???
  9. I got an email saying that CGC is taking 15-50 days to open submissions...so that's more than 7 weeks
  10. I got the typical response via email saying they are now taking 15-50 days to open submissions. SO I imagine next week it will be 15-60 days..ad so on and so on. Also, the email they sent me said they are posting the dates of the boxes being opened..so I guess they are stuck on April 12th..
  11. My box was delivered to CGC on April 21...that was six weeks ago. Has not been open or "Received" in submission. Just wondering........... CGC 9197495295
  12. great..mine was april 21st..so maybe real soon
  13. Uhh, there are only two ways a submission is "lost" when the submission is known to have been received, especially with how CGC is a self contained unit once the packages are delivered to CGC
  14. dood, it's a colloquialism..it's something people say that doesn't really mean anything...are you new to the English language? I bet you actually also answer rhetorical questions
  15. yes..I used that ...it's there but it has been there, unopened, for five weeks I know that CGC has their own post office in situ..so pretty much if your USPS tracking says its been delivered (meaning the postal carrier has delivered it to the CGC site), it doesn't take more than a a day or two for CGC to scan the box. I have timed this with several deliveries Interesting thing is that none of this seems to have affected the signings ...they are immediately processed upon receipt of delivery ...I have noticed that they send those books through grading pretty fast once they have been signed...well, unless you forget to put the signers initials on the box...which I did once...ugh
