  1. Just to add this here in case someone else wonders what can be graded: https://www.google.com/search?q=mini+comic+cgc&rlz=1C1GCEA_enCA836CA836&sxsrf=ALeKk03HBm1ZxKvCuKSpaZmda5kZBdROkA:1615410497184&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwje--aG0abvAhWoF1kFHaNkBHwQ_AUoAnoECAMQBA&biw=1280&bih=610
  2. I can't wait to see the wonders Joey did, I'll make sure to share that when it comes in (which may be months from now with CGC's current wait times). and yes, please tag me. Regarding the contents, I did check to see which stories were included in my Canadian detective. It had no adds practically, but all the stories were there.
  3. Just so we are on the same page, you meant to write "Americans" right? I wonder why they don't get the same premium we see in copper age books, where canadian variants can go for double or more. I guess it's because with golden age books we don't get the same level of rarity when it comes to a variant over another, the mais american release is rare enough. And mine is currently at CGC after being sent to @joeypost, we'll see what comes of it. It's one of my prized possessions.
  4. Is it also 1/2 for Detective Comics issues, like this one:
  5. Here is the answer: the tier value is what you want back if CGC loses your book. If 200$ is enough for you, keep that tier and write 200 If you'd want more back, then pick another tier The value is for insurance purposes only And yes this question was asked 100x and a thourough Google search would certainly have found answers
  6. Contact cgc customer service, we cant help you with this
  7. Write to CGC in the "ask CGC" portion of this forum. They will tell you what to do and send you a postage paid pacakging slip so that they can do the correction.
  8. The first one that came to mind for me was Blade and I still think he's the best example of this, though Ironman is pretty good. Black widow also changed a lot.
  9. Come on man, the answer was in the same place you posted your question. And Habby2324, can you please make this a sticky, people ask the exact same question every day.
  10. If a wealth tax is added in the US, wouldn't the worth of one's collection also mean you pay more?
  11. I honestly thought for a moment that Chris Nolan was signing books because that's who I think of first when we mention Bane and Nolan. why not? Question to everyone who had their grades drop, did you opt for the post signing press?
  12. To me ebay was already dead. I only bought one item there the past year and that was just by chance. It is my last resort. The auction format no longer being the main way product is sold was proof enough that the ebay we knew was no longer around.
  13. Cool, but I wonder why one would want to get that wonderful sketch sealed away in a CGC case, never to be see again.
  14. There is a distinction between the Director's cut and the Ultimate cut, no? the Ultimate cut has the interwoven Black Freighter segments while the director's cut does not, is that correct? Personally, nomatter what cut, if it still has that Doctor Manhattan ending, then the film goofed.
  15. Comics are hot right now and sellers can price them however high they want. If the book is too high, then it simply won't sell. As simple as that. If you want to buy at market price, then buy in actual auctions.
  16. So I am assuming it was not missing anything on the back when first submitted right?
  17. Definitely worth it to give it a try. Let us know how it works out!
  18. You have to choose what you want more in your collection.
  19. Impossible to help with offer on all books since knowing the condition of teen titans and silver surfer is crucial. For an offer of everything except those, anywhere between 25 - 50$
  20. Greggy did say "bottom staples" plural plus I thought we could see a staple tear at the edge, which is why I assumed there are 2 staples on the bottom half
  21. OOOf, then yeah, this will take a big hit. I think you lose half the points as a starting point, same as having tape on the cover.
