  1. Stan has had many accomplishments; having a hand in the creation and publishing of the Sub-Mariner is not among them.
  2. Are you generating your postage and printing your mailing labels through ebay?
  3. I like them both. Art Adams is a great artist and I'm a huge Kirby fan, as I believe Mr. Adams is.
  4. Here's my Stan from 1978, before handlers were necessary, when he sat at a standard 6' table and you could talk to him.
  5. And if you don't have a copy of the picture on your computer, download it from Photobucket to your computer then upload or drag and drop to you post here.
  6. I just logged in fine. Generated in 0.034 seconds in which 0.011 seconds were spent on a total of 16 queries. Zlib compression enabled.
  7. You better watch out and hold on tight, he's heading your way like dynamite. @*Bronze age fan* delivering the goods! I don’t have my list handy but that must wrap up the Marvels. I haven’t been buying much lately or scanning. Maybe I can toss something else up by the end of the week.
  8. It looks like a fingerprint smudge from here, but it's also hard to tell from a scan. I've seen many, many books with CT in one or two spots with other flawed areas untouched. I wouldn't necessarily use that as a guideline when attempting to assess CT.
  9. I don't categorize theft as a "past legal issue."
  10. Does this guy work behind the counter at the taco joint? Though you probably won't know who he is unless you have kids.
  11. I believe that is Mike's Amazing World: http://www.mikesamazingworld.com/mikes/features/newsstand.php
  12. I’ve witnessed a local knucklehead who always wants a steep discount regardless of the price. If a book is $50, he wants it for $25. If it’s $1, he wants it for .50. If they’re .25 cent books, there still needs to be money off the top. One time I was going though a fresh short box and he was so unable to control himself he reached in and started flipping through the books in front of my hands. I told him in no uncertain terms to remove his paws and wait until i was finished. At that point, I began to ponder each potential purchase with great care and thoughtful deliberation.
  13. So, am I missing something or has no one called or visited the store and demanded the CGC invoice number for their books yet?
  14. They seem to be marking the items private, not the feedback now. I bought something a while ago, and when I looked at the feedback I left, it's marked private. I can't figure out what it was, lol. I KNOW it was not something I'd consider private. I only buy comics/books, packing supplies, that kind of stuff on eBay. I won't let anyone with private feedback bid on my auctions, I had a disturbing encounter with someone who had private feedback eons ago. It stuck in my mind. The person actually called me and threatened me with a neg if I didn't send him something extra. I dropped stating it in my listings not only because I wasn't running into those folks so much but to streamline my descriptions and avoid a wall of text. However, I would most likely bounce anybody with PF who tired to bid.
  15. There are still people with private feedback? I used to state in my listings that I would not accept bidders with private feedback but dropped it since I didn't think they existed anymore. BTW, sellers cannot leave bad feedback, only positive.
