  1. I don't see any color break, so a pressing should eliminate the bend completely.
  2. Who is pressing your books that has been given the OK by CGC, to do it after a signing event?
  3. How much tape did you use? Never, ever use tape as a security measure. Makes taking the book out safely a challenge. Use just enough to hold everything in place and rely on bubble wrap and packing peanuts to provide shock absorption.
  4. Anyone else have any moderns from February? This is the last 26 books of a 101 books submission. The other books were ready in early May. 4011940 2/23/22 26 10,400 PRESCREEN - MODERN
  5. That would be a major deduction. Like a bad tear major.
  6. I know it doesn't need to be said, but I will say it anyway. Do your research on who you will have press your books.
  7. Let’s keep it classy people. Be more passive aggressive, please.
  8. As long as it doesn't get out of hand, I see it as a way to allow submitters to let off some steam.
  9. Won this last night. Went after it in an earlier auction and was outbid...significantly. Difference in hammer price was $1,152.00 A lot of these Hulk were sold in March. Someone tried to flip them and failed miserably. Just on the Hulk 132 and 133 the final hammer price was $2,852.00 lower.
  10. I think it’s time for economy tier to have its own thread.
  11. Appears so. Mine is crashing as well. Spinning wheel has run into the wall.
  12. Happens all the time. They were probably in two different boxes and were interrupted by a private signing or a bunch of express and walk-thru books. I have an order of 101 books sent in that 75 were ready and picked up by me on 5/12. The rest are still SFG.
  13. Vertical speckling. Many copies have this issue. Happened during production.
  14. Not sure if this was already covered, but I have a question for those computer programmers and application specialists on the boards. I can only assume the notes section of the grading process are stored in some kind of relational database. How difficult would it be to programmatically “grab” those notes and create a QR code that is printed out on the actual label that links you to that data? If CGC’s concern is redundancy that would eliminate that, wouldn’t it? Might cost some money up front, but the benefits later on would pay off big time for them.
  15. I drop off 1500-2000 books a month and I wasn't contacted, so not sure who prominent members would be.
  16. So...........I am going to ask again. Is anyone, anywhere at any time getting any economy books back? For those who have gotten economy books back, when was the submission date?
  17. Which may indicate where the focus is now.
