Define "irritating cryptic posts".
Once again, if I thought it was anyones business how I know what Terry has, I would have said as much.

How am I supposed to define that? I heard this from someone who is friends with him and has known him for decades.
How about "a lot"
Well, you could say 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 7/8,
400 pages, 275 pages, 350 pages.
Not a difficult question. And regardless who you heard it from, despite knowing Terry for “decades”, the number is probably incorrect.

He did keep the vast majority. There was a time several years ago that he brought them to John Byrne's house so JB could sign them, I remember pictures being posted on Byrne's forum of the visit. I thought it was in preperation to sell them but I guess that wasn't the case. I was told by someone who knows him personally that he was saving them for his "retirement". but he's 70 and the market is pretty hot. He must be well off if he couldn't use a 7 figure payoff.
Define “vast majority”.

I’ve heard the same thing. Someone on here crapped on that idea but I don’t remember any specifics as to why it was wrong. Terry sold a few pages but overall the story is he kept the strong majority of it.

I think I was the one who “crapped” on that idea.
But only because I know more than virtually anyone, and have proof.

You are so confusing that it’s dizzying trying to understand your point.
firstly, original art is a one of a kind item. Trying to use the sale of a Byrne Xmen page from 2002 with the sale of a different Byrne Xmen page that sold in 2022 for 14x the 2002 page is folly.
but then to say that an Anderson Hawkman page, which didn’t even keep up with inflation during this same period will climb higher (assume you meant to say it will increase in price by x times faster than the Byrne Xmen) is ludicrous.
the Byrne Xmen pages will always be in demand, with fierce competition driving prices ever higher.
By comparison, not so much for Anderson Hawkman pages
And, unfortunately, Silver Age and Bronze Marvel art will always sell for more than Silver Age and Bronze DC art

Bechara has stated numerous times over the years that comic art only goes up. So there may be some basis for a class auction lawsuit here.
But very little of what he spouts means anything.

I thought they were very light, too. I was watching several pages and none hit the results I figured.
I will say that a lot of pieces on C-link last night went high quickly, stayed that way and then didn’t move much in the end, which surprised me, especially the Thanos Quest pages.
Why does no one bring up the fact that 2 auctions ended the day before the big Heritage auction?I suspect the prices at C-link reflect that.
Too much art offered at one time, prices will suffer for the earlier auction, especially when up against Heritage.
But everyone can go back to “the sky is falling” scenario.

Not really surprised. This is just another version of "market making", like shilling at public auctions.
On one piece I am watching, something odd is going on. There is very little public history of how much a particular artist's work sells for (I've bought privately, so I know). There were also about half a dozen pages of the artist's work listed for sale. All of a sudden, after sitting around in some cases for years, they all vanished. Then, some covers start coming up for auction. Very strange "coincidence". I'm thinking someone didn't want the public looking at low prices to gauge comparables, and bought or somehow manuevered them off the market in the hope the pieces would rise higher without comparables to consider. Is that possible? Has that happened before?
More than you think.

I think Mr. Mustache is blatantly lying here. He raises prices on things on his website all the time and unless every single one of those things was gifted to him they were bought. By him.
Of course Mr. Mustache does.
Every one does, except me. 😁 -

Mitch, Glen, Mike, etc feel free to correct me, but that's how I see it
I beg to differ.
I sell a lot of lower priced art under $1000 to the “little guys”.
I find that term offensive. I treat everyone the same. I get asked all the time by BSD’s why I don’t offer them the big ticket art. I tell them get in line with all my other buyers. You’re no more special than any one else, so stop trying to impress me with your collection/wallet.
Not something these “BSD’s want to hear. So, because I don’t kiss the ground they walk on, those “BSD’s” won’t buy from me.
I will admit to sending previews of art to just a couple buyers before the art hits my site. But just a couple.
