  1. Just got this one in today. I used the live.com 30% rebate to get it quite a reasonable price.
  2. It has been over a year since I owned a Cap. I didn't realize how much I missed them. It's nice to pick up books from your LCS! Nice All Select logo Mike... Thanks Ben. Our own Flee Marquett designed the logo for me. I like the Nedor style font combined with the AS #1 back ground. It was exactly what I was after. He did a few other versions for me also.
  3. I can only dream of posting here as often as Mr. Parker or posting books of that quality, but this was a nice one I brought home from a tiny litttle local show in Daytona Beach today.
  4. It has been over a year since I owned a Cap. I didn't realize how much I missed them.
  5. I picked this one up from the LCS today. It walked in the door with a copper/modern Spider-Man collection.
  6. Krypto. I like MM, never much cared for krypto stories, but that is just me Thanks, your not so bad yourself. J/K I like Martian Manhunter also.
  7. I just found this one at a local con over the weekend. I posted it in General already but I think it deserves to be posted here too.
  8. That date stamp makes that book. Yeah, quite a bit of GA actually. I had quite a decent amount to offer. A dealer named Ron (last name escapes me at the moment) had some really nice stuff, but not any super hero. including probably 50 or so Pedigrees, which included several Church books, but mostly funny animal type stuff. I came close to pullling the trigger on the Lost Valley copy of Famous Funnies #89. Paul Dyroff, and Greg White have a bit of GA, including a Batman #1 of Greg's. It is a heck of a local/regional show, but attendance and sales were flat this time.
  9. Thanks Doug. The show wasn't very good sales wise and I spent most of my earnings on these two books.
  10. I managed to find a couple of Gems at a local con in Tampa yesterday.
  11. That came awfully fast!!! I am so happy I was able to help you out with this one. Beautiful book Mike! Congrats. Thanks, and thanks again for letting me know about it.! (thumbs u
  12. He's slow to ship but keep reminding him. He hasn't posted here or at another board he frequently posts in for a week now, so it may be that he's been unable to take care of your orders for some reason or another. I sent out a MO to Gliberto on 9/9/08. He has answered my PMs, but it has been mostly one excuse after the other. The last PM was on 10/25 stating that my book would ship by 10/31 with confirmation. I haven't heard anything back or received a book yet.
  13. Just in from the Post Office. It should go well with these one encapsulated.
  14. Great book to own indeed Indeed! A great book to own.
  15. Interesting, i can understand why they were omitted, but they could he could have put something in there rather than just blank circles. Maybe iron crosses or something. Either way, I know which cover I'm getting when it comes out next year.
  16. Looks like it was worth it to me Mike Those pages look yummy agreed. real nice book yummy! Thanks guys. I'd do it again......Buy the book that is. - Get married again, maybe not. Na, just kiddin'. I'm a lucky SOB.
  17. I got in trouble with the wife over this one. I got it through a nice trade deal with Mr. Schomburg.
  18. Looks like you can't grade. Seriously, that last Avengers looks terrific. What made you think it was a 7.5? CGC doesn't seem to care when books at this grade level have dust shadows. That was the one I sold you correct Mike? As an 8.0? Yes, I believe you listed it as a 7.5/8.0 . So you and I were in the same ball park.
