  1. around 8.0 probably. Maybe a little leniency since the back is so black & shows every little defect
  2. 5.5. I was higher, but the stain will torpedo the possibility of a 6.5 or better, where it might have been
  3. I have a different book with a similar looking light spot. Still waiting for it to get graded. If it's printing, >9.2, but probably not 9.8
  4. Very much depends on what that mark is. Books looks >9.0 otherwise. If that's even a light stain, then could go down to 8ish.
  5. 3.0. I agree with skipping the press. I don't see any upside given the other issues.
  6. might get a 5.5. they're really hard on stains. I'd be hesitant to send any book with a sizable stain (esp a dark one), unless the book was a $1K book in NM. I've got one a 7.5 & an 8.0 both with tiny back cover stain no bigger than the smallest spot on this book.
  7. Easily presses to 7.0 IMO. Maybe comes back higher as I've seen this one grade better than expected fairly consistently.
  8. They are quite hard on spine splits unfortunately. 6.5/7.0 but will present in a slab better
  9. >9.0. Some ink loss on the back away from being close to perfect
  10. 1.0 piece is too big & nothing to be done. It might look marginally more presentable with the wrinkling pressed out
  11. Press to 8.0/8.5. I don't think the crunch will go away completely, so that's the ceiling setter. Black cover looks great otherwise
