  1. These I never pass up if the price is right and it definitely was. I lost track of how many copies of each I have now. Going to have to do some digging, organizing & updating my list of comics. Really only have to go through 4 long boxes and a short one as the rest was updated recently.
  2. Just pointing out how ridiculous some of there picks are. Thanks for pointing out that I have a choice in the matter.
  3. Key Collector who also have an old swamp thing on their list as a first appearance of swamp thing as an ear of corn. Not joking or kidding. People are foolish to pay for their services.
  4. From what I’ve read there’s two versions. The Direct has a thick card stock cover and no yellow upc on the back. The newsstand had a thin glossy cover and a yellow upc on the back. You said it was poly bagged, as in from the printers or someone just stuck it in there? What’s under that crooked white sticker would answer what version it is. It looks like the direct edition.
  5. Any waviness are the bags. Some late Witchblade Newsstands.
  6. Wow. I didn’t know that. Thanks. I don't sell much but buy a lot. eBay refunds their fees but not PayPal.
  7. Considering negative feedback only effects the percentage for 1 year, its not saying much. It stays in the ratings, Accurate Description, Sellers Communication, Shipping Speed & Reasonable Shipping Cost forever. So saying someone has 100% Positive Feedback means they haven’t had any negatives in a year. Which I find to be complete bull feces.
  8. Yeah they’d refund any fees in that case.
  9. Unless I come across a key post 2000 newsstand at the right price I’m going to be focusing on Silver and Bronze Keys. I’ve narrowed it down to a graded 6.0 Or better X-Men #4 or a 7.5-8.5 Incredible Hulk #180 to start.
  10. The rest of today’s newsstands and going to be ramping down on them for some bigger purchases.
  11. Sort of off topic but I ran across this on eBay tonight. Very strange. Has anyone seen this before or can explain it?
  12. Maybe instead of complaining about staying on topic you take your own advice?!
  13. Added another to the P.C. On a sad note it was actually the first 4 issues of the series but all but the first had gotten damaged.
  14. Do you know why? Directs has started years before. I see later issues in the series without barcodes but not the first 12 issues. Learn something new every day.
  15. Has anyone with the expertise & time started a newsstand database with pics and any differences from the direct editions?
  16. Actually one popped up as an auction in the meantime. You’d be bidding against me and I hate losing. I have little to no self control. Lol. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F383394773180
  17. Nice. They can be had for $30 on eBay. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F293174801284
  18. You can take satisfaction in leaving negative detailed feedback. Especially if they’re at 100% Positive.
  19. Usually post over in the various newsstand threads but these aren’t.
  20. I get a lot of books through USPS shipped media mail. Not by choice but it’s the only option on a lot of books I buy. In my experience Media Mail is horrible. Not only does it take a minimum of a week shipping from the same state but the packages are always extra beat up. Part of it’s the extra time it’s spent in the system but that can’t be the only factor. It hasn’t gotten faster or any better over the years. Also anytime I’ve had packages take detours across the country it been Media Mail. You know the package coming from Virginia heading to New York and it goes out to the west coast for a bit visiting other lost media mail packages.
