  1. I had no clue but thanks for that piece of info.
  2. My thoughts are that Action Comics #1 is a coveted book among collectors no matter the grade, but at the same this is the first time a 9.6 AF #15 has come to auction in over 10 years. I can see someone paying a little more just for that reason alone as they may not get another opportunity.
  3. I don’t see the book reaching those kinds of heights, seems a bit overboard.
  4. If this copy manages to surpass an Action Comics #1 and become the most valuable comic of all time, I’d be astounded. I honestly don’t know what to think since both are big books in their own right, guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
  5. Thanks! I really enjoy some of the GA Flash books just because they’re so hard to come by nowadays, especially the keys.
  6. I haven’t seen anyone talk about this on the boards yet, but I’m actually curious to see what this will go for in the auction. https://comics.ha.com/itm/bronze-age-1970-1979-/house-of-secrets-92-dc-1971-cgc-nm-mt-98-off-white-to-white-pages/p/7246-110001.s?ic4=GalleryView-ShortDescription-071515
  7. Fantastic Four #48 and #49 I was at a local con back in December 2020 and I could’ve gotten both for $1000 total but decided to pass on them: Biggest regret of mine.
  8. I agree with that price. It’ll be crazy to see what happens to the book on the internet bid and the live bid.
  9. That’s what I was originally saying. There’s just no way it’ll surpass an Action. #1 just for that reason.
  10. Ahh I like your thinking. The Marvel keys are on fire after all compared to DC, anything can happen with a 9.6 AF #15.
  11. This was my thought as well. I can see it hitting the $2 million mark pretty easily. I just don’t see being on the same level as a CGC 8.5 Action Comics #1 which sold for $3.25M.
  12. I doubt it’ll break the $3 million mark..
  13. That’s totally understandable but it’s part of the hobby after all, searching for the right copy no matter how long it takes. THE THRILL OF THE HUNT!
  14. I did see them. I just think it’s odd a staple from a book becomes detached while in a CGC case. Personally I would’ve just cashed the check when you originally received it and waited for another copy to come along.
  15. Did you look over the book before buying it? Was the defect there prior to purchase?
  16. If you do want the book back, you can always join in on the ComicLink auction.
  17. That’s awesome! Great splash page too! This is a HUGE grail of mine and I hope to get it one day.
  18. It’ll get a purple label just because there’s pen going over letters that’s already there which can be considered “small amount of color touch”
  19. I won this book today. Pretty happy about it, 1 of the 4 highest graded copies, and it's a pedigree as well.
