  1. pretty much pending eye appeal and PQ. I've been offered more than that price point for my copy recently. What grade is yours? a 2.0, but presents much nicer than most 2.0s-3.0s I've seen.
  2. Help me with the per point value thing. So lets say .5 1.0 1.5 1.8 and 2.0 are the grades. If you say $20K per point that would be 1.0 value then 2.0 equals $40K? Then just take 75% of the $40K for 1.5 grade? The last .5 incomplete missing back cover sold for $19000. Anyone have a picture of that Bat 1? This is .5 incomplete but as with any comic once you hit SB or Brittle pages it turns off probably 95% of buyers. Eye appeal was definitely lacking on this .5. right on point Leroy

  5. great pics. Thanks Jeff. It's a little sad to see that all those comics are replaced with phones and computers now.
  6. That is one horrible, gnarly, hot mess of a Batman 1 will probably still go for a hot 8 to 10k and that would be a waste of good money for crumbling paper that used to be Bat 1 agreed but folks are desperate for copies of GA keys.

  8. How are Dan's donuts tasting lately?
  9. The stamp sure looks distinctive, but I don't think there was a Tec 39 in the books that Weiss brought to market. I can't remember whether the books he sold were supposed to be the whole collection or not. I know the Weiss Tec 31 has "1001" stamped on the FC.
  10. Enjoy your bday at NYCC. Where's the birthday dinner celebration going to be?
  11. new mutants 98, batman adventure 12, .... Oh wait. You said golden age Didn't you hear, I'm a copper/bronze guy now. Action 7, batman 1, ww1, sensation 1 and the likes. where are the Timelys birthday boy?!

  17. I remember watching this episode of Diffrent Strokes from 1981 (4th season). Arnold steals a Spidey 14 worth $400 to gain initiation into a club. OSPG top guide was $60 (1982). Must have been a MINT copy . Check out the video from 12:25-19:25. http://youtu.be/wLp_boyYdiM
