Were these movies ever supposed to make any real sense? This is hardly cinema….

4/5. Strong film. I didn't think that Dune could be properly adapted.
SpoilerFor those who have seen it, did you find the ending abrupt? I read the book back in high school ( along time ago), but I thought that the ending was a more natural conclusion. I'll be interested to see what they do with Dune Messiah.
I thought that the depiction of Feyd-Rautha was one of the weakest aspects of a very strong cinematic experience.

Saw it tonight. Will share thoughts over the next couple of days!

@jsilverjanet that review above is from the same Youtube account I recommended to you for getting up to speed on the book series lore and general universe details. He knows these characters and houses more thoroughly than most.
His YouTube content is super strong! I think he also did some videos on The Three Body Problem as well.

I enjoyed it too. Definitely a movie where you don't spend too much time overthinking the plot holes. A friend suggested a movie where the Beekeeper, Equalizer and Wick have a mash-up.

wiki says these next two were made into movies, tho' i've never heard of ‘em.
first up is the exorcist. slight spine tilt, but overall really nice shape. some defects on jacket, you can see it on spine edges. this one has tells on copyright page AND last page of text. all the bells and whistles are here. $150,
Billy, is this a first print?

My opinion still hasn’t changed.

@WolverineX great timing, Omar just put up the reprint poll today! So head on over and make your voice heard!

As a reminder to everyone, Marvel actually does listen to this material, Omar is tight with their collected editions department, and books making the top 25 tend to have a VERY good chance of coming back. So go vote and get your book reprinted!
I put in my annual vote for Tomb of Dracula Volume 2!

That's a very cool catalog, dover! Such a treasure trove of original art. As a kid back then, $150 might as well have been a million, but the opportunities for some of those covers and pages were pretty incredible.
Ain’t that the truth!
