  1. That sucks - I haven't had that so far, either on my phone or my laptop. Sorry you missed out on that NM+ Dazzler #1.
  2. So hard to choose - here are 3 favorites: Dark Nights Death Metal 1 signed and remarqued by Puppeteer Lee. Lee is one of my favorite new artists, and I won this on an eBay auction at an absolute steal. I just love how it looks in-hand: This is kind of cheating, but I bought these three in 2021, and I think they make a wonderful set, so I'm counting it as one entry - not the highest grades, but I look for deals and I did fine on these, at a spend level I was comfortable with, and I'm thrilled to have them: The third choice was tough because I've added so many cool books this year, but I'll always be a Joker fan (and a Neal fan, wonky leg be dam*ed) at heart:
  3. Yeah, I'm saying, for $10 bucks it's a good deal. I mean, I agree it doesn't look like a cgc 9.6, but even if you cracked it out, you're still probably ahead. You might be able to find a 9.0 raw for $10, but maybe not.
  4. I agree with you that it's a rough looking 9.6, but that book sells for more than $10 raw.
  5. Almost all of my collecting "regrets" have come not from stuff I've sold, but from stuff I could have bought and passed on for whatever reason. I've sold plenty of books without a second thought because that's mostly what pays for my purchases (I subsidize my collecting budget by doing photo shoots as well - my photo shoot money is additional income that my wife and I have agreed is "collection" money). But there are many, many books and lots I can think of where I passed and have since regretted it. So now, if I have the disposable cash and it seems like a good deal, I go for it.
  6. Most of the time, I'm digging in $1 bins for 3 reasons: 1 - to find stuff to flip so I can buy more books for my collection; 2 - to fill holes in my collection; or 3 - to find readers that I don't mind beating up for stories I want to read, either multiple times or for the first time. This would easily fit into #2 or #3 for my criteria!
  7. As a $1 bin diver, I'd grab this every time, but I'm also a big DC guy. I think it's a sweet grab for a buck!
  8. I can't stop staring at this gorgeous Turner cover. There aren't a ton of these on eBay, and I wanted this book the moment I saw it. I was thrilled to get a cheap 9.4 copy. I have plenty of different raws of this issue if I want to re-read them, and even at a 9.4 this just pops in the holder.
  9. Small Justice League of America run with mostly Turner covers: Pre-ordered this cover set a while ago on the cheap: I think this is a stunning cover - not a lot of them out there on eBay, and I really wanted the book, so I was thrilled to get a cheap 9.4:
