  1. I've been playing MPQ on a daily basis for probably 7+ years. It relaxes me
  2. I just submitted my first batch of consignment books ever - all CGC graded - and was mildly disappointed that it took several weeks for them to be properly entered into the system. I just figured this was par for the course due to the sheer volume of submissions they get (hey, that last phrase sounds familiar...).
  3. THANK YOU! I don't get it either.
  4. I would love to know the original context of this gif of Chuck
  5. Logan can des..errrr.... Never mind.
  6. Whatnot is really, really annoying, so hard pass. My impression is that it's like watching a YouTube talking head on crack except they're trying to sell you comics via a comment section with trolls.
  7. LCS had a big sale (comics under $5 were $1.00; comics under $10 were $2.00). Some newsstand edition finds...
  8. Economy Slow Track finally moved to G/E/I today. Only took nearly 11 months. No press. Status: Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging Received: 9/28/21
  9. ...sure 'nuff, mine FINALLY saw movement! Status: Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging Received: 9/28/21
  10. You are mistaken.Economy is 228 days, unless you purchased fast track. You should have your comics sometime next year. CGC Services & Fees | CGC (cgccomics.com) Economy (Pre - 1975) $35 Fast Track: +$15 228 days Fast Track: 41 days
  11. I didn't even know this existed. Congrats on having the top pop
  12. It was a mix of 3-packs I'd been sitting on, and 7-packs I bought recently. Once they were all opened, I just threw them in a pile then took these pics. MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE GENTLE!
  13. Is this one anything? *shrug* *checks ebay* OH SNAP!!!
  14. Here's the remainder of the contents of the Wal-Mart packs I got, a mix of regular covers, second prints, variants, and Wallyworld exclusive covers:
  15. Nice! Mine was marked received on 9/28, so hopefully in another 2 weeks (which would put it one month shy of A YEAR in CGC's hands) I'll see movement!
  16. I never knew this! I always figured it was due to too much ink during the printing process, or low quality paper being used. To think that they might not have come off the stands that way, but became that way due to storage conditions and aging is fascinating - especially the link to foxing.
  17. All of the examples I've presented are from 2001-2005, supporting my initial statement in the thread above that it's common for Marvel books from this era to have this production flaw. I stand by my statement that CGC was wrong in classifying this as a "readers crease." Harumph
  18. The creases are VERY hard to see in scans and need to be seen in a certain light. I would agree that some of the color rub on my example should cause the book to take a hit, but 7.0? OUCH
