  1. Hey, I held that Action 1 CGC 7.0 at SDCC this past year. I have a pic of it somewhere.
  2. The CVA sticker will definitely bump the price up. A nice looking 9.0.
  3. Yep I agree FF 48 is a monster book, but like someone else was saying, if it only had the cover to #49 I think it would sell for more. If one owns a #48, they really need to complete the trilogy. Great set IMHO.
  4. I haven't seen him post in quite sometime. I lost track on how many Tec 187's he owns
  5. Paging BatHound!!! Nice copy and great colors on that one. Also no dust/sun shadows which is fairly common and pages look great. Shouldn't last long I'm thinking.
  6. Congrats on the sale Bob! It was a stunning lower graded copy
  7. Not to mention Supes 1 is one of the tougher keys to find in unrestored condition. So any unrestored copy that is being offered up for sale usually gets scooped up pretty fast.
  8. Told ya not to lose hope. Glad you're finally going to get your package.
  9. Ok cool. I didnt even check the website. Thanks for checking
  10. A Supes 1 in CGC 1.0 with supple pages sold this year for $100k. The nice looking brittle copy if sold for $80k+ I think was a great deal.
  11. I just checked eBay and there is no sale of the book in the completed section. Most likely was either sold privately through his website (wondering if it will be on GPA) or if not his book the consignor asked to pull the listing down.
  12. Yep i certainly did. A great purchase for the buyer. Maybe AS 8 has a slight pullback now since a lot of copies have been offered for sale this year?
  13. I once saw an auction on eBay about 10 years ago where a seller had a sealed case of FF 48 books inside, i can't recall if the box contained other FF issues. He said that he bought it in some gas station either back in the 60's or 70's. I think he bought a couple more of those boxes, one of which he opened. I dunno if anyone else remembered seeing that auction, but it was unique and amazing to see. Maybe that may have affected the quantity of FF 48 in high grade if the buyer opened it up and sent to CGC.
  14. Yes it's miscut but the colors on it are superb.
  15. Old label goodness too it's quite an attractive copy... hmmm..
  16. Any copy even if ratted and tatted would still leave a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. Just holding the 1st ever Spider-Man comic.. love it!
  17. All 3 auction houses (Comicconnect, Comiclink, Heritage) are great choices to consign your books. Can't go wrong with either of them, each may have its own advantages and disadvantages but overall they're the top 3. I guess it depends on auction scheduling on when you want to sell your stuff.
  18. Waiting for pre-robins to crash so i can complete a set again
  19. I think if you ask for data once in a while it's fine like in your case. I would be happy to provide some also, kinda like a trial. But if it's everytime then that's where most draw the line.
  20. Of course they're going to save it for season 2 or even beyond . I wanna know already..
  21. So true I haven't been manning up to the sale prices these books have been selling for.
