  1. Plenty of copies out there for sale. Just gotta have the $$$ to buy
  2. Yikes, I saw that $900+ a night in the gaslamp district. There are some in Hotel Circle and Mission Bay which is about a 10-15 ride to the convention center for around $200+ a night (3.5-4 stars) and Downtown (Harbor Island) 3.5 stars, which is even closer for $500+ a night. But ya those are what I can see right now. Hope you can find something soon.
  3. The video was well-put together. After hearing what Jon had to say, you can tell how passionate he was when he was putting his collection together and how much love he had for his books because he wanted to know EVERYTHING about it from the art work, to the artists, to the writers, etc. Towards the end of the video in the last segment where Jon was talking, I sensed that it was difficult for him to let go of it all after all these years compiling it together, especially the Centaurs (20 years!). I can feel how much he will miss his collection.
  4. Are you kidding me!? I see a bunch on hotel search engines like expedia, trivago, hotwire, etc.
  5. I find it hard to believe. Hope you find a place to stay soon!
  6. Just by looking at the lineup of books being offered this month, I'd say so as well.
  7. Indeed. Everything posted is a boner alert
  8. True true The 5 that I have trump Bats 66, unfortunately.
  9. The CVS sticker will most likely pimp the book to sell for a higher price. It's a nice looking 5.0. Maybe I should upgrade
  10. I'm sure the Berk Collection catalog will be worth $$$ by itself! Instead of paying $$$ on a single book should you win, you can own all of the digital pictures in one shot
  11. Very similar to mine. Nice books Ben! Welcome to the Marvel 1 and Cap 1 club as well!
  12. Thanks Readcomix and to everyone else as well. I do not have a Suspense #3, but would definitely be in consideration if I had a copy. I'm glad my collection is small or else I would have a difficult time putting together my top 5
  13. As you can see, books that highlight the main character in a larger scale than anything else on the cover is what catches my eye. So in this instance Batman looming over the castle, Sandman with his gas gun, Captain America punching Hitler, Samson pounding down on the robot, and Human Torch melting the safe door.
  14. That FC #3 is just out of this planet. AMAZING! I wished my copy looked like that
  15. Nope, didn't matter, was just curious. Sorry if it brought back those "painful memories" of what happened
  16. Must've missed looking at the 6. Was too focused on the 7
