  1. Congratulations Win!! I have never seen that book before. How close are you now to closing out the publisher? Off the top of my head (still out of town for Thanksgiving), I'd say I have around 15% more to go, say 40 out of 290. It's getting tougher for sure. just bumping this because I recently asked Win "how many" there are....he couldn't quite remember, but I had remembered him telling me many years ago 290 or 292.... so, I've always gone by that number... right now, I believe I am 4 short of complete publisher, so last night I counted how many I have... 231 is the number, but 2 are promos... so that leads me to believe I have 229 out of 233... God forbid there are 290+, but if anyone has a more accurate count, lmk... I think 233 is the number Curious to ask how long has it taken you now to have amassed your Centaur collection?
  2. You can still get the fees maxed out on a high dollar item if you just open a "basic store" for (I believe) $19.95 for one month. You can pay the $19.95 for one month and sell your expensive item, but the fees are capped at $250 since you have a store (whereas they would be capped at $750 if you didn't have a store). I don't know why eBay does it this way, but it's definitely worth it to just open a store for one month then cancel, to save on the final value fees. That sounds like a great idea I'll look into it, thanks! I thought by having a store, you need to sell a certain amount of items and have sold a minimum amount of $$$ to be eligible? Also need to have perfect 5 star standing in all categories? I think I have two 4.9 stars
  3. I recently sold my Hulk 1 and was charged a buttload of $ for the sale
  4. This has now changed. I talked to eBay last month or so and theyou said the maximum amount they charge for fv fees is $750 which equates to a sale of $7500.
  5. Yep. I think a lot of eBay sellers do with high ticket items. Think about how much $ you can save doing the deal outside of feebay
  6. Gators current Centaur collection is pretty rare
  7. I missing something from the photos. That book looks very under graded. Sure does and because you only paid $165 for it plus the grading fees to have it currently slabbed, it wouldn't hurt to possibly see if it can get a grade bump. But, it's up to you.
  8. To be honest, that is a nice looking 7.0 and looks undergraded
  9. I think I've seen this copy before a while back. The top staple is a given.
  10. The 2.0 on C-link ended up selling for the $45k that I predicted. -J. That should be a new high for a 2.0
  11. It was a nice looking copy. Certainly miss my former copy i sold
  12. I really hope it sells for $60k With the way GA mega keys have been selling especially in unrestored condition, I think anything can happen.
  13. Was thinking at least $40k as well. Looks much better than my former 2.5 copy I sold
  14. cover is split and detached...2.0 is as high as it goes...but it does "present" better...not 60K imo, but a pretty copy in the slab... Didn't even see when it was graded. Makes sense on why it graded as a 2.0. A beauty none the less
  15. If anyone wants to get in the club, there is a nice looking 2.0 on C-Link. Looks undergraded in my opinion.
  16. I actually prefer this copy than the 9.4 that sold on HA
  17. Simple.. Because some love to take a gamble. I myself included hehe
  18. Too good to be true. Doubt it's legit.
  19. Yep, seller should've sold to Metro so there would be no seller's fees involved and would likely get straight cash.
