  1. For now, this is the current market evaluation for this book. Until another 7.0 comes out for sale in an auction format ( with similar eye appeal of course), just gotta treat it as such. Markets can shift drastically in either direction so who knows how much the next 7.0 copy will sell for. Either way, consignor still profited huge from this sale.
  2. I'm sure the consignor of the Bat 1 CGC 7.0 was happy with the result. That same copy sold around 2009 for roughly 100k I believe.
  3. Good, I want this to keep going so I can pay $100k for a CGC 9.0 copy or higher!!
  4. I'm always in financial distress everytime I drop 5 figures towards a book . I'm like what did I just do, the day after.
  5. 2021 was a lifetime ago. Comic years are like dog years on steroids. 2021 was also a year where we saw all-time record high prices for all collectibles. For the most part, 2023 has been a correction phase
  6. The CGC 7.5 Bethlehem copy only sold for $31,200 in 2021. It's either this copy sold for a discount or the 7.0 sold for too much
  7. That 7.5 was an outlier and likely will not treat a regular, nicely presented 7.5 copy that way
  8. complete destruction of a book. I treat it in the same category as trimming, but not as severe.
  9. Ahh the peasant's Heritage comic auction has started. More my lane!!
  10. Shocked it sold for more than the white page copy last year at $78k
  11. Looks like I shouldn't be sweating it if I sold my Law Against Crime #1 Promise book now
  12. I dunno if it was in a purple label before. Not sure of the previous grade before removal. Impossible to find out with all restored copies graded.
  13. The Marvel 1 CGC 7.5 "underperformed." Some folks thought it would break a mil. I was a bit surprised it sold for roughly $90k a point, which was my estimate for mid to lower grades. Because it's a higher graded copy, I was thinking increments above that. Oh well.
  14. Great minds think alike . Someone overpaid ESPECIALLY with that glue on the cover which cannot be removed safely. If the owner wants it taken off, would likely lower the grade by maybe one or two points. That book will seem like an outlier.
  15. The Eerie #1 Promise sold higher than what it did last time though. Shows how strong the market is for PCH books.
  16. The Tec 27 CGC 6.0 I thought did very well. The Rockford copy also a 6.0 sold in 2020 for $850k...
  17. the Tec 33 was shocking holy cow . I had an estimate of it for around $80k. What do I know
