  1. Looks like amateur color touch on spine. I'm going to guess CGC 2.5 (C-3)
  2. Definitely do your homework with this. I've read a few people who invested complained that Rally would hold their funds for a long period of time and would not deposit it into their accounts after selling their share(s) for a profit. Not sure why and if at all accurate. Just sharing from social media.
  3. Tom is THE guy when it comes to authenticating rare action figures in particularly the Star Wars Boba Fett prototypes. Each figure would come with a letter of authenticity with his name and signature on it. There was a day when he inquired about my Sensation 1 and asked how much I wanted to sell. We didn't get the deal done because he ultimately wanted a higher graded copy. I'm wondering if he was successful in buying one, but I wish him all the best in his collecting.
  4. Maybe it's because the book had minor color touch removal
  5. There is another 37 at CL CGC 3.5 ending in 4 days.. My copy
  6. Bought my ticket to see it this Sunday. I can't wait!!!! Maybe I'll bring my Bat #1 along with me
  7. Looks to be a fake sale.. Same buyer who "won" it at auction also hit the buy price at $50k.
  8. Good luck with the auction Clark! I'm watching closely too because I have a 2.5 copy
  9. Wow!! That is impressive! Like coming out of the printing presses
  10. My teenage nephews are invested in NFT's. Said they're making good money out of it. I don't know anything about it and just told them to be careful putting your money into it.
  11. I'd like to know who are these people paying these record breaking prices for these books: the Supes 1, Hulk 181, TMNT 1. Are they comic book collectors, sports cards buyers, etc.? The Superman 1 CGC 3.0 sale was definitely eye popping and could be an outlier. I had the book at $500k tops as my prediction. I also wonder if it will be paid...
  12. finally ! bidding was already at 20K I made a private offer to the seller to take down the auction muahahahaha
  13. very unusual, yes, I remember thinking the same .... I do see that one and I must admit, I did forget about that sale. With 5 days left in the auction, it's still very possible it will cross that price point. It does, however, remove that one bidder/buyer out of the equation on competing bids with this current copy. Will there be a 2nd bidder to lift the price higher? We shall see. The no live bids is a rarity with Heritage. Strange indeed.. Was it also confirmed that the book was paid for?
  14. That's a beauty and is high up on my wants in terms of PCH books! I'm kicking myself for not seeing the ebay copy that sold I believe instantly a few months ago. I even asked the seller if the buyer paid and if for some reason they didn't I was willing to buy it.
  15. I believe the owner of that Tec 27 was shopping it around privately asking $350k for it. Would be interesting to see if it hits that mark
