  1. Here's a few choices: A) Save up some $ for that key. Some people would sell most of their collections to be able to afford their dream book. B) Wait for a buying opportunity when the market is not so hot. It's cyclical and there will be deals to be had for sure. C) Buy a reprint of that key book if all else fails, which practically looks almost identical to the real thing in some cases. I'd rather have something tangible to flip through than "own" an image of a book which anyone can just look at for free. Also, what if that person has a stake ownership and never wants to sell, but majority does than that person would be forced to sell their share(s).
  2. Maybe if Shredder wasn't sketched in, it would have had a couple more bids. That sketch is horrible at the top ruining the title. Still performed pretty well regardless. It's a unique 1/1 book that a few bidders wanted in their collection.
  3. I like the larger bidding increment, but not a fan of the 30 minute extended bidding each time a new bid is placed. Would prefer if it were cut down to like 10 minutes, something more reasonable so I don't have to wait in front of the computer long. Just my opinion
  4. Yep.. "Sold" on CL or who knows, maybe wasn't paid for
  5. I think this same copy sold previously for $63k on August of this year

  15. Metro/CC has a 7.0 copy that was displayed at NYCC with a price of $350k. Seems like a very good deal compared to the past two sales of this book (the 4.0 on Heritage and the brittle 1.0 on ebay).
