  1. This week’s collection. Plus,I finally got my dollar bin new mutants 98 graded. Was a dollar bin from about 29 years ago. I was hoping for a 5.5 or 6.0, so I’m definitely happy with the grade.
  2. And box two. It did take a really long time to get them back, but pressing earned me a few 9.8’s that I wasn’t expecting. And New Mutants 98 and X-men 221 came back much higher than expected. We’re all good, CGC. Redemption is yours.
  3. Box 📦 1. I wasn’t sure Spider-Man 1 and Thor 5 would be 9.8’s, but pressing took care of my concerns. 🤘
  4. Finally! Over 13 months to get these back. I’m almost not excited because it took so long.
  5. 7 more coming home. New Mutants 98 came in higher than I thought it would (has a tear). 🤘 My two best dollar bin finds were in this shipment. X-men 221 came in at 9.6 and New Mutants 98 came in at 7.0.
  6. First 25 are on their way home. The only one that’s a bit surprising is Captain America 1. I’m pretty sure there are 2 color breaks on the back side of the spine.
  7. Books are in for grading! Took 17 days from pressing. Overall, it's been 1 year and 1 month, since I shipped my books.
  8. I went in 95, 97 and 99. Back then you could just show up and buy a ticket at the door. Even then, SDCC was way better than any con around. Neil Gaiman did a midnight reading at one of them. Got to meet most of my favorite artists and writers. There was still over 100,000 people and lots of cool things to buy. You're going to have a good time. I wouldn't waste too much time with CGC, otherwise you might have to skip some of the good stuff.
  9. 10 days since they said they were going to charge my card for pressing and the status hasn't changed yet. Still sitting at received. Is this normal?
  10. 2 Chris Claremont’s 1 Claremont and Silvestri 1 Stephen Platt got these signed in the late 90s at San Diego comic con. Mark Silvestri also signed the first four issues of cyber force.
  11. Yay! My books were finally charged for pressing. 1 year and 2 weeks. Now, the wait for the rest begins.
  12. I don't even know how to find my order numbers. Maybe I saved a copy somewhere.
  13. Today marks one year since I sent in my order. Still waiting for pressing.
  14. Next week will be 1 year since I shipped my order. It's still waiting to be pressed. Should I email them? At this point, I regret sending them in. 5 or 6 of them are more recent Marvel issues and they easily rub off on back boards and other issues. If they''re not properly stored, there's a good chance they're no longer 9.8 or 9.6's.
  15. 3 more weeks and it'll be 1 year since I mailed in my order. It hasn't moved passed received yet. Still waiting for them to be pressed. There's a legit chance I won't get them back until 2023.
  16. Wasn’t sure if I would get around to coloring these or not, but I did. Here’s the final product for both.
  17. Recent practice pieces I did. Still trying to find tools and the style that I like.
  18. LCS had a sale. Most of these were $.25, but the two in the middle were 50% off. FA Domino. Had my kids with me so I grabbed what I could before they got really bored. 😆
  19. Decided it was time to make an investment with the Mutants, before the MCU hype hits.
