No info about POP other than it's coming hopefully later this year.   CGC already has a pop report for comics, so I'm sure they're capable of launching in a timely manner given that they only recently opened to sports cards.

Personally, if you're not looking for a quick flip, I would list it in line with PSA values and it's perfectly reasonable to use the low PSA pop as a selling point (in relative terms, cards should share similarly low pops across graders).

Yeah, they've said one is coming for TCG cards for a while now too.

Wow this was an enjoyable topic and glad to see I’m not the only one in this boat. Our local card shops have runners who line up at Walmart on restock day for sports and Pokémon.
If you take them retail product and a receipt, they give you cost + 10% cash or 20% in store credit on very over priced boxes.
Sometimes it pays off. A friend took in $200 worth of Contenders draft the first day it hit our shelves, Earned some in store credit and payed $150 for a NFL optic mega - total rip off in the numbers, but he hit a base & silver Herbert and two base Hurts with a bunch of other parallels. Profited about $300.
Point is the card shops are doing a lot more than jacking the price up.

I’ve had great luck searching different retail stores across the country. When I’m ready to buy I check every store in about 20 city’s. It’s not easy, but it works.
P.S. - Target Kroger and Walgreens seems to carry a much better product than Walmart. It’s not hard to imagine Walmart saying give me all boxes that failed quality inspection! I’ve got some huge hits from Walmart, but I’ll get 3 hits in 1 Target box, then 1 hit in 3 of the same Walmart boxes.
Same with Walgreens - hit a serial # /99 and a auto in one pack Vs. 1 auto in 20 packs at Walmart.

Sometimes it helps if you're there when they stock at Walmart and can see how many boxes were put out. If it's the entire case, it's worth buying for the case hit. If it's like 1/4 of a case that's been broken down to ship to different stores it may not be worth it because the hit may not be in there.

Sorry. I read original post wrong. I thought the question was priority between tiers and not group or individual subs. That said, it drives me crazy to pay for walkthrough but point is that I never had an issue getting them back on time. I missed the whole point to this thread. Apologies.

Unfortunately unless it's a really expensive card walkthrough isn't really feasible. I know what you're saying though. Express isn't too bad as long as the box is marked and it's seen and opened accordingly. Once you hit a certain price point the ROI doesn't make sense though as CSG slabs aren't the highest on return.

For example, subbing a $5-10k card through WK with CSG, you might as well sub through a company with higher return for $100 more unless it's for personal collection. I'm not saying CSG is bad, but the market just doesn't value them as highly.

Bottom line, and I hate to say this, unlimited walkthrough and walkthrough will take priority every single time. I currently have an express sub they received on May 2. Still waiting. I currently have a standard sub they received on May 3. Still waiting. And since that time I’ve also subbed three unlimited walkthrough, and all three were back to me within ten business days. I know it’s a brutal fact for us and a tough pill to swallow but if you want the cards back faster, then you have to pay for those top tiers.

    Who said anything about walkthrough?

Thank you for your question. Although I cannot give you specifics, turnaround times reflect the average length of time that we think it will take to complete a submission received today under a given grading tier or service. Turnaround times for individual submissions can vary based on a variety of factors including whether the submission form was completed properly, the submission was packaged correctly, the collectibles require additional research and other reasons.

That had nothing to do with what he asked.

Are bulk group subs given priority over individual submitters? I submitted my individual submission in mid March and still don’t have it--I also submitted with a bulk group in mid-late April same level and I already got that one back--can you explain ?

Some people I know have been saying the same mess.

Yes, the statuses were recently updated. Now, when a submission is received and verified, it is put into "Scheduled for Grading", which makes more sense than it used to. So now that status will be the longest one for Bulk and Economy submissions rather than the old one which was just Received. When it's in grading, it will go to Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging. I was incorrect in thinking it was a glitch before on another thread, I apologize. It was just as change to the statuses which I had not been aware of.

Are you strictly the trading cards or CSG as well? When I click the SFG link on pokemon it shows what I subbed. On the sports it shows this. Not sure what to make of it.Screenshot_20210721-102240.thumb.jpg.b848134cf2e347daa894fd9d6da0187d.jpg

We do not currently have a public pop report. We are working on it, though!

Is there an internal one or a time frame? I've looked high and low for a comp on a Base 2 9.5 Charizard. None have been sold anywhere that I can find. Without one, either me or the buyer I'm trying to work this out with are going to get clowned on the price.

They're still a new company in the world of grading. They've only been open for about 5 months and many are still waiting for their bulk slabs from April to finish grading. So if you think about it, there are really only about maybe 3 months worth of graded cards out there. I'm not surprised that you are not seeing very many of them. At the same time, look at SGC. They've been around for years and you still don't see a lot of them. Unfortunately, even though I like SGC and CSG, you just won't see much of them out there compared to BGS and PSA. Those two were the standard for grading for years and PSA still is.

I wasn't expecting a ton, but still surprised at there being virtually none. I expected anything high end to be PSA/BGS/SGC. Considering that's a pretty big show for Atlanta I thought I'd see a lot more.

All sellers aren't equal.  A seller with tons of feedback and lots of followers, lots of items for sale for combined shipping, and a long history of 99 cent auctions will do better than a seller who does not.  What's for sale also matters.  If you're listing high demand or high value items, starting at 99 cents, they won't be overlooked but if you're listing bulk lots or low demand items they may not get noticed.

I'm not sure what you were selling  but you mention 2 lots worth $20.  Buyers factor in shipping costs so a lot with books valued at $20 with a shipping cost of $20 isn't gonna sell for much.  Look for local buyers through craigslist of garage sales

This. If it's a hot item I run it on auction and 99% of the time it ends within $10 of my bin price. If it's a lower demand item I do bin w/ offers. Given I sell cards, not comics but the process is the same. A popular player/Charizard etc won't get missed and does just as well on auction. Random rookies or cards that might be worth money, but there's a low chance of visibility I throw on bin and just sit on it.

9.5’s for English vintage (WOTC + Early EX era) are literally almost impossible to get. I’m treating mine like Black Labels lol.

I did manage to get one on a Base 2 Zard so I guess it's possible. Almost tempted to either hold until pop report is available or crack and sub elsewhere as there aren't any sold prices on one.
