  1. Yeah no way they're letting slip any movie details just yet. I'll be glad anyway if they hold off any FF announcements for a while. Give the spotlight to the MCU stuff due this year and next whilst I try and pickup some of the FF silver age run I've been after before prices get out of reach!
  2. I bet the score came through well, I've listened to it a few times now and some of the tracks are amazing.
  3. I remember reading someone's comment that if JL2 ever got made it could start with Darkseid's view of the finale, in the same way BVS opened with an alternative view of the Metropolis battle and JL opened with the Doomsday battle. Sounds to me like it would be a terrific start!
  4. So true! The scene itself is a great idea and an opportunity to see Superman interact with someone he hasn't really met yet.
  5. I do love that old school logo. Although my first thought on this image was of Batman making a mess of his jam donut.
  6. I predict the silver age Marvel key explosion will have levelled off slightly, no more insane increases week after week. They certainly won't drop but they should take a slower uptake for a little while....until 2023 when Marvel announce their Phase 5 slate and it goes mad again. The speculator boom on modern stuff will still be in flow. I'm referring more to the 9.8 slab merry-go-round that is increasingly popular and I don't see this slowing down anytime soon. Fingers crossed DC gets a boost though, I'm looking at loads of cool key books in reasonable grades that I'd love to own. They won't be anywhere near Marvel values but will hopefully increase a bit. Lets see if the Rock can set the DCEU on fire with his Black Adam movie coming along.
  7. Glad to see they're doing another, I wasn't sure I would get into the show when it came out but love most things Carell does. Turns out the first series was pretty darn good and had more to it than expected.
  8. ZS gets asked about it in practically every interview he does these days, the demand is still high and he admits himself that he's always open to more. It's just funny that he also openly acknowledges the WB situation too and the fact they don't want him. Give it another couple of years and when things settle down we'll start to hear the rumours again
  9. With there being so much talk from fans about Kransinski and Blunt being such perfect casting it makes me wonder if it's almost certain it will be someone else. Either way I reckon the FF are going to be a huge deal when they come into the MCU. Not just a hit like the way it was with Guardians or Ant Man, but right up there at the Avengers level in their involvement and storylines. Fantastic Four was so important for the silver age of Marvel Comics and the potential to bring along the likes of Doom, Namor, Galactus and the Silver Surfer etc is just HUGE! And could be so cool for years to come. Plus Spider-Man is their main guy now, he's in it for the long haul and his relationship with the FF has always been good.
  10. So is this book destined to trend like IH181? A book that has no shortage of availability in all grades, but one that continually demands a high price through pure popularity of the character. It's gone past the 30 year mark now too so pretty old really. Which is also weird as back in the mid 90s I felt like getting a book from the silver age was ancient! The gap from ASM300 to now doesn't feel like much at all. Is was mentioned a few pages back that 10k for a 9.8 could be a point it stalls for a while. If it powers through that barrier then there's nothing to stop it!
  11. With my current mindset I'd be going for that ASM 1. If I was thinking the way I did as a kid when I first started collecting I'd be going for as many 0.50 and $1 books to make up the 20, give myself plenty to read! I think it took me a long time to start associating value to what I was simply reading and enjoying looking after.
  12. Agreed, it was lacking a certain something to make me feel interested in this new group of characters. Although I'm sure Marvel know that, probably quietly confident in their own massive success that they feel they can tease this one out over the next few months. As long as they put out a good hook at some point to give us the 'wow' moment I'll certainly give it a watch.
  13. That's great news, if you get the Rock you keep the Rock! Pretty much guaranteed But if he's sticking around for the long term then it has to be inevitable he crosses paths with the Justice League right...?
  14. I can see that choice working, although I can't see how the story will work without Spider-Man in some way being included. Hunting Spidey was his main drive.... I guess that comes down to what big secret Sony and Marvel are holding about where all this links together.
  15. Got to love it when people have a sense of humour about themselves like that.
  16. No denying a lot of cool looking covers but is that the main thing to remember about this series? I've read the first 2 now but not sure if I'll stick with it to the end.
  17. I'm expecting a lot of hype building for this one, something the rock is very good at doing! Really hoping they do some cool stuff to keep him around for a long while.
  18. How many Bruce Wayne chairs do we think they'll need?
  19. I'm another that's watched the whole series without being familiar with the source material. I thought it was just ok and then after reading about the actual comic I wish they'd just stuck to that. I didn't mind the 1929 storyline but they all seemed to go along with things a bit too easily. The kids definitely let down the modern day storyline, very irritating characters.
  20. I wasn't sold on the Bat suit at first, but the collar design has grown on me and it looks like it should give him full movement of his head! Definitely looking forward to this, hopefully get a new trailer or look at the fandome event in the summer.
  21. 129 thousand dislikes haha. Meanwhile they must just be sitting there in a huff, arms crossed and digging their heels in.
  22. Maybe they hated how much support the films were getting even though it didn't hit the box office numbers of Endgame. WB seem to dislike the fans because they don't agree with their vision when they wanted to go with JL 2017. Plus now we all know about the dodgy goings on behind the scenes...
  23. Those estimates of 4 more years before any sight of continuation should be a long enough period of time for the big shake up needed at WB. Then they might just get lucky and find themselves in a position where bringing back JL will fit in nicely with everyone's schedule!
  24. I was actually hoping it might have something more about it after Serkis took on the directing job. The brief Carnage appearance looks pretty cool but they'll need to be clever with the battle scenes as we already got plenty of symbiote v symbiote action in the first film.
  25. Celestials definitely seem a good shout for the set up. It must be fun for whoever sits in that board room with Feige and his mates, throwing out ideas and seeing it come together.
