Nick's (Flaming Telepath, or FT for short) a great person to deal with and has a lot of nice books...I've got some real keepers in my set from Nick as well! But that dam across-the-pond shipping charges... I remember that FF # 2 that you bought from Nick that I'd nearly bought. If it hadn't been for the # 4 that I picked up instead.......

Wow, I held this beauty in my hands at the launch and I so, so wanted it. If only I could have afforded it. At least it can't torment me anymore when I visit the office. The gap on the wall display was the first thing I noticed when I walked in the other day. Congrats Rich, it's a super sweet 7.0.

Just love these books. Me too my pride and joys Awesome TTA 59, one of my favorite Hulk covers of the silver age. Yeah, the cover to # 59 is one of my favourites too. Glad to see my old copy of # 79 has such good company.

Personally, I think it was handled OK. There is often a "if there isn't a problem then we can make a problem" vibe to the boards and I don't mean that as a dig to anyone.

I agree that the probation thread is applicable to this situation. I feel sympathy for Yannis for whatever his personal situation is but it doesn't seem to be any kind of excuse for what happened. If he had a valid excuse for not completing his transaction with Matt, then he shouldn't have been able to sell it to anyone. Oh, and a couple of people have been real jerks toward Matt. Matt has handled the situation well, we need more like him. He's alerted the forum to a bad seller and while I think Yannis should be put on probation, it's Matt's call.

Kudos to Byosti for a couple of nice Thor slabs and to C-Mack for a big bunch of TOS slabs. Great dealing with both you guys.
