I am just about to do a submission, and I selected FedEx return shipping from CGC, but I am shipping it with USPS to CGC, should I ship to their USPS address or their FedEx/UPS address
Yes. Ship to the USPS address.

my bulk submission has been in the Grading/quality control for a few months. its a 50 card order. anybody know if this is normal? I read above it doesn't take long after this step.
When was the submission received? Have they took payment? Best way to get any real info is to call them.

Call them. Sounds like a accounting issue. Emailing them is a joke...

Is this normal to pay and wait over 6 weeks to ship? I though you pay when they are being graded, why would there be such a long delay at this point?
What tier submission is it? When was it received by cgc? Did you call and pre pay or they automatically took the payment?
Technical yes, they usually take payment during the grading steps and ship with in 3-5 weeks after (from my experience). But who really knows.....

Bulk w/ Subs: 50 Cards
Received: 4/30/21
Quality Control/Finalized: 11/4/21Yet my Bulk no subs (84 cards) received on 3/15/21 are still in G/E/I.
Bulk orders received on 5/19 and 6/23 had credit card charged on 11/4/21
Nothing makes sense anymore....
They needed more money to buy crypto

So my bulk sub from 5/3 was charged to my CC a few minutes ago. Should I be expecting my cards soon? First of 4 orders in the system and I kinda do not wanna be paying for multiple subs with no cards in hand.
3 - 5 weeks maybe?

That shouldnt really make a difference why his bulk would come back, though. I sent all mine with express subs; the express subs came back but the bulk still lingers...
Yes. It shouldn't make a difference in theory. But as we all know CGC hasn't made much since so far with alot of things.... I'm just trying to figure it out with the rest of you all...

Has anyone experienced damage on the side like this? I just got this beauty back this morning to find out the slab is damaged
The last picture is the other side to provide a reference for what it should look like.
I'm assuming this is the "new" packaging. Pretty sad to see this is the result. I don't think Plast-x is fixing this one...
Any experience with returns? Turnaround time?
That's just the case being fused together with glue or melted. I'm not 100% sure how they do it but all the slabs I've gotten back so far all have the same exact thing like in your pictures.

Yeah my 6/14 shipped today. I checked my account looking to see if my 5/4 entered quality control yet and I was surprised to see the 6/14 sub shipped. I never saw it go into Quality Control. I still have two bulk subs from Early May in G/E/I. They went into g/e/i a month before my june sub, which, were only in g/e/i for not quite 2 weeks. I don't understand their process anymore. Definitely not first in first out.
Did you ship that bulk order to CGC with any other submission? Like a standard or express submission?

It's just a thin glossed over cardboard instead of a rough basic cardboard. Same design.
I can't believe they would still be using the old packaging when it is know to damage the cases. Also the suggestion of purchasing a plastic polishing/repair solution to fix damage that shouldn't be acceptable in the first place is embarrassing. I know Paul isn't responsible, but CGC should have a better process for fixing their own mistakes and faulty products than "try fixing it yourself by spending more money, or call CS and hope they can help you get them fixed in an unknown timeframe.
I second this 100%.
So let me get this straight, the "new" packing insert is still the flimsy cardboard and it just changed color? This is very upsetting to hear....
-
Well that's highly disappointing.....

You have to call them and talk to accounting.

I can get behind this. CGC motto first in, first out is a lie anyway....

@PaulS. I submitted my slabs with wavy labels under Mechanical Error. The status currently showing is "scheduled for grading." Are these cards actually going to be re-graded? I just wanted the wavy labels taken out and new labels put in. That's what I thought would happen since this is a quality issue. If these cards are actually going through a re-grading process, could different grades be assigned?
They do not re-grade the cards. Also did you pay for shipping?

I agree but 102 of the same card should have gotten at least one when these cards where pack fresh.
"Pack freash" means nothing in the world of trading cards..... Just because cards are "Pack Fresh" doesn't mean they are 10s especially when the cards are 20 years old. People gotta get that out of their heads.....

Cgc is a joke finally shipped my cards. I checked to see what I got for grades and I’m not happy at all. I sent in 102 ancient mew cards and not one got a 10. I personally opened each one of these cards just before sending them in these cards are so clean it’s not even funny. I also sent in 35 of the same charizard cards and not one 10 out of these cards either. Don’t think I will use cgc again.
CGC 10s will actually mean something. I'm glad they don't pump out 10s every other card like other grading companies do.
Good luck in your endeavors.

Hello! Has CGC made any progress on it's population report for cards? Curious to know if any grades exist for certain misprints I'm hunting.
Only answer we have gotten over the past year is that they are working on it.... there is multiple threads about this....

I got interested in the grader note.
I want to see this, but I couldn't see my card's Certification# anywhere.
Can I get this only after receiving the cards?
Use the submission number followed by the card "line item" number, 001 002 003 etc. With no spaces

How did my friend get his bulk back today that was received 4/5 and I still have not received my economy which was received 4/6??
Good question. I'd be calling them everyday. This is my recent economy submission.... every other day we see post like yours.... CGC has a long way to go.....
Scuffing on cases...is still a thing

This is very concerning and nothing is being done to fix the problem. The "white coating" on the new inserts did nothing to fix the problem.
I really hope you send them all back to be fixed. Don't waste your time trying to clean them.
