They actually responded to my next email about me being able to "still submit it", but they basically said that I can send it in and /hope/ it gets graded? What??

Why would I waste my time and money for JUST the possibility that a grader might be in a good enough mood to grade my card, despite what was stated right beforehand?

Just giving a straight yes no would be fine so I don't have to strain my brain going "what if?" on sending it in or not. Maybe I can throw it in a washing machine and go viral to get their special destroyed card treatment like with the washer zard 😑😑😑

They would authenticate the card but won't encapsulate it. They'll create a label and everything but since it won't be encapsulated, you can say that label goes to another zard card of the same type.... So it would be pointless and a waste of money imo to submit that card.

I was charged for a Bulk submission on 12/27/22 that has been stuck in Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging since then.

Customer Service just told me I'll see the cards "mid to late March". So potentially over 3 months beyond when I was charged.

Okay sounds great I'll be out thousands of dollars for a few months, no biggie. Let me know if you guys need more.

They need to put a hold on other grading tiers until they get this bulk under control. I've seen people with economy submission being shipped back with in 10 - 15 days after it arrives at CGC.

I really don't understand how it will take 3 - 4 months to grade a 50 card bulk submission after entering GEI fase (this is my experience)..... does it really take one whole work day to grade just one single card?

Thought I would update that I now have 2 bulks in G/E/I and both have been charged (one in december and one earlier this week). These were for an early August received date.

    Thanks!

I paid way in advance for my bulk submission due to my CC info changing....

But as of today, my 8/26 bulk submission has been in GEI for exactly one month. Hopefully ours will ship out the same day. Maybe one more month? Let's hope for the best.... Good luck!

Seriously dude!  Where are bulk orders right now?  Mine was delivered 4/28, received 7/28, still stuck in G/E/I!!!

No idea. No one really post their submission info on here anymore. They just come on here to complain. Which I totally understand.... my 8/26 bulk sub has been in G/E/I for exactly one month now.... Economy been having 10-15 day turn around times lately....

The march is in Encapsulation / QC. Not sure what's going on with the May.

Did you call them? Sounds like some kind of accounting issue/glitch that people run into every so often. Don't expect CGC to call you or anything if there is a problem because they won't. You have to stay on top of your submissions or they'll get lost in the void until you contact them. They will act like they don't know what's going on but will push it threw. This is all from my own experience and stuff I've read here on the message boards.

    Good luck.

Can we spot the issue here?

Inconsistency after inconsistency… how can I be home to sign for my generic 8.5 slabs/registered mail if you my submission isn’t updated to shipped?

C’mon now.. this is the second submission that this happened with. If I didn’t have USPS informed delivery I would have never known. With the previous submission I had to call to have things updated (WEEKS LATER) so a buyer could look up a cert number that wasn’t showing up in the CGC system. Apologies for b!tching but I’ve yet to have a pleasant sub experience after seven or so of them here.

They didn't send you a email either? A shipping acknowledgement?

I agree this is a problem. I sent over 100 cards for bulk grading and none got a 10. That includes over 10 illustrator charizards which most got 9.5 grades. Over 10 General Mills Pikachu all got 9.0 or below. I know I’m not paying $100 a card to grade but c’on there should be at least one 10. I am seriously considering canceling my membership. CGC needs to understand the market is down for sellers right now. And a CGC 9 is not valued the same as a PSA 9. Much less a 8.5 or 8 for a truly mint card.

Maybe you should of went with psa or beckett?

I did this and the post office couldn't access the shipping label. They said I need a QR code or a shipping label in my email that they could print. Otherwise I would pay another $50.00 to send and insure the package

When you do a submission and pick which shipping you want that's for the return shipping only back to you.

It's your responsibility to ship your cards to CGC. So yes you have to pay for shipping.

My submission says grading/quality  control.      Yet when I click them words I'm taken to fedex that says it shipped 2 days ago and is almost here.    Yet the page that lists cards shows no grades or sub grades.

Somthing is fishy with cgc online status. I just want to know my grades before I get my box.

But.   My order was shipped to cgc 12/27,  received 12/29. And was shipped back to me 1/3 according to link info.    Not bad times.    Ordered Standard with sub grades.

I have a feeling your cards didn't get graded....
