  1. More "Dark Age" DC Sci-Fis come into my possession... Love these "Earth in a Window" covers. Bill
  2. Love that cover! I can suspend my disbelief as well as the best SA fan, but does Supes really think that the pilot can hear him... WAIT...if Superman has enhanced hearing, smelling and eyesight, maybe super-loudness is also one of his powers as well...Answered my own question...never mind.
  3. Nice copy of EH! Here is a group of nice MAD rip-offs... Ditko cover! Kirby cover! Andru & Esposito...fantastic team. Here is some of their BEST work!
  4. WOW! Just look at all those colors...just as colorful as the BULLSEYE cover. Those mid-50's covers S&K did for PRIZE are some of the best covers ever done! Bill
  5. Those are great covers...and I hope to own a run of Bullseye someday...but I am rather partial to this one. Oh, Wrightson fan, why do you torment me so with your perfect copy of FIGHTING AMERICAN #1
  6. Dont fall prey to this seller's pathetic attempt to "make it right". He just wants your $ in exchange for his over-graded . I have been monitoring his feedback over the last 2 weeks and I saw 2 negs come and 2 negs go...This guy promises a "special deal" to customers who call him on his cr@p...if they drop the neg. Its disgusting to see how totally flawed the eBay feedback system is. I shall NEVER, EVER buy an ungraded book on eBay again. Now if I could only get the taste of vomit out of my mouth...
  7. Here is a new addition to my vault! On the Prototype front... Now, there is something very interesting in the Infantino story: "Secret of the Scientific Doodads". There is a certian bald, green-skinned, purple jump-suited alien in this story who looks exactly like that Superman villian, BRANIAC!

  9. The "Mad Momba" is one of my favorite pre-code stories! I think it was either reprinted by someone here or it may have been posted over at Pappy's http://pappysgoldenage.blogspot.com
  10. If you can't read the issue number it's Action 210! Could this be a ... wash-tone cover?
  11. Filing a paypal dispute will get a response from him. You may have to wait a couple of weeks though for your money back.
  12. Dude, I would have waited until he sent the "bonus book" before renegging the neg. He had promised me a "bonus" but never delivered. And...sending a Western Union money gram is almost like sending cash in the mail. Good Luck.
  13. He is a chronic overgrader...I would assume that the masses have not inspected their purchases very closely...
  14. Being a JFK conspiracy buff, I have seen many mentions of Mark and his research in that community. With regards to THIS seller, if I had not paid with Paypal, I never would have gotten my money back. As soon a I filed a claim, he promptly emptied his bank account.
  15. Sigh....I never get tired of seeing your FIGHTING AMERICAN #1...
  16. Nice Superboys Silver! Do you have any of the Superboy MORE FUN issues? I would love to see them sometime. thanks, Bill

  19. Hmm.. thats a good point. My wife has an entire closet full of shoes -- must be over 3 dozen...I must remember to somehow use an analogy of HG Silver Age comics to expensive high heels IF she ever complains!
  20. WOW!! ..if MY wife even mildly suggested that I "thin the herd" of my Pre-Heros, that B@!(# would be out in the gutter in a heartbeat!!! "Thin the herd"....INDEED!
  21. Ahh, is that Ted's copy? Very nice. One of THE best monster cover..EVER!
  22. Cheetah...I recall when you first posted these how amazing they were...how they were all most likely 9.0 or better and most likely best known copies if you ever chose to send them in...absolutely STUNNING copies...wish I knew you better or lived closer to see them first hand...CONGRATS! Tom Careful Cheetah, sounds like Tom is planning on a visit. As long as you give him a nice firm sofa and a stack of pre-heros, he should be content for a couple weeks...
  23. Nice copies! The Ditko interiors are light-years ahead of these very nice covers! I would love to see more of your Chucks in the Charlton Sci-Fi thread!
