  1. OMG! Its a regular gallery of em! Gorgeous. And all the folks that love WW are here too!
  2. And that IS one of the better covers in the run from 50 - up! Sweet! Nice to see this thread revived! Wonder Woman kind of dropped out off the radar since the movie was shelved. Now with the animation, I'm hoping the title gets a boost again.
  3. Nice Superboys Silver. Superboy #1 - has such a great cover, I would love to own one again someday, but that's a tough run to make. it'll be nice to see that group shot when it's ready to be taken.
  4. 2 and my number 3 have been schmoozing since I introduced the two earlier today. ok, there's the black cover as well - very nice. all you need is the big yellow one (thumbs u and wallah!
  5. nice one lauren; early bats don't tend to 'pale' on these boards. and they don't come much "earlier" than #2... love those red covers almost as much as black ones.
  6. I wonder would CGC certify this (that Mickey gnawed the corner) if they witnessed it? ...and would they call it the CC (character-chew) series?
  7. This Famous Funnies / Buck Rogers / Frazetta goodness arrived from a fellow boardie this Saturday!
  8. Didn't know what topic would be the best place to ask this question, but since I see a lot of resident experts on this string, here goes - why is this Planet #66 bigger than the rest - both before and after? I bought it at the Big Apple Con off a reputable dealer, so I don't suspect trimming. Did they decide first to enlarge the format and then returned to the smaller size? Anyone? This is #66 - notice it's wider then the rest.
  9. I believe this cover has probably been posted here before, but I'm so happy to have snagged this very sharp copy, off ebay no less, I couldn't help myself. p.s. decided to post smaller a scan not to hog so much bandwidth...
  10. L.B. Cole, another artistic gem of the GA world, unknown to me, formerly a SA collector. Mask #1 & 2 are classics of the highest degree, as far as I am concerned. And you got to love that Strange Adventures #1 - a classic cover even with it's awful color palate.
  11. Sweet (thumbs u cool how the "FF" monogram is tucked away in the lower left hand about 1" off the bottom.
  12. The first (and only) comic with cover and all art by Frazetta I believe. some pick-ups from the Big Apple con - proving that lower grade comics deserve love too. you gotta love space-girls in snowsuits.
  13. A recent find - didn't see another one posted so here goes; Thun'da #1 Big Apple con was this weekend - lots of fun and nice books too!
  14. There's a lot of nice pre-code stuff in the November 22nd Phillip Weiss auction for you horror addicts. prauctions
  15. Gorgeous. I am constantly amazed by the fantastic range of artists during the Golden Age. It makes you want to have em all.
  16. anyway, a little self-gratification. Wish I could say I owned it...
