  1. Like a bear ting in the woods - is it a married cover if no one is there to witness it?
  2. It'd be amazing to see a bunch of Planet covers.
  3. since we're on the subject of Buck Rogers - this little beauty came in the post today...
  4. I hate to see something like this break up a good friendship - I'll take em off your hands so neither of you get's stuck with em.
  5. "one of the greatest of all covers." I agree. #213 is pretty amazing as well. Unfortunately I didn't scan it before I packed it up to send to CGC.
  6. Got this beauty in a very cool lot of books. This one with a georgous Mac Raboy cover.
  7. Frazettaaaaah! I've added Thunda to my want-list! Anyway, first time posting on this topic - a new acquisition - in a very cool lot of books.
  8. Love to help Roy out but unfortunately I don't have #49 and my #2 is slabbed.
  9. That's not nice not sending you a close-up. Whos wonder woman ? Superman Batman Wonder Woman... I know.
  10. Got the word from CGC, the #62 got a 7.0 Saw that #6... wondered if you were gonna go after it. Good luck! Wondered if Skypinkblu is going to try for that Sensation Comics 1 CGC 5.5 - closing in 17 hours+ - I recall she was in the hunt for one.
  11. Cripes, you've seen the original - (or you own it!) - FF could maybe have added some line work after the fact? And the big head syndrome, chalk it up to the glass bubble magnifying his head.
  12. I humbly submit, my latest acquisition: Frazettahhhhhh...
  13. Nice job on that Creepy #1 with Warren's signature Makmorn!
  14. They are all mind-blowing covers, again thank you for sharing. #213 especially gives me goose-bumps, there's so much going on in it visually. This run of books is simply marvelous.
  15. :blush:gosh. comin' from you guys, it's a high compliment.
  16. Omigod Rick, if the chance comes again BEAUTIFUL books, thank you all for sharing. if anyone has any of these they want to part with, please PM me. No one ventures a guess at the grade on the #209?
  17. Gee thanks all. If there isn't one, there ought to be a "Complete Frazetta" guidebook.
  18. Yep. I started to look at all the books Frazetta did covers on. Daunting to say the least. I don't have the budget a lot of you guys have but with some luck I can snag a few. This catch was just beginners luck I think. Cool that it was the 1st in the run though. One more thing, I'd appreciate any guesses at what CGC might grade it at. The cover's flat, no creases or crinkles, back cover has a small (1/2 inch) tan stain at the top edge (could be age) no major problems and no pulls, it feels like it hasn't been opened (at all or) in a long time.
