  1. Maybe so. I thought GPA was around $4k. Dunno for sure, my subscription to GPA lapsed I'm sure others will confirm this momentarily, 4, 3, 2, 1 . . .
  2. I agree Brian. Strong prices for GL1 and SC22 today. Well, I added a second copy. Show-off ! Thanks Mike. nizzze (thumbs u
  3. And I thought this book was rising Wha happened
  4. . . . for GPA Decent copy...a good deal for the buyer. . . . for the lucky recipient
  5. Was anyone else surprised that 6.0 CR/OW went for a little over $2k in the Heritage auction I thought that was low. Maybe an eye appeal thing
  6. Surrrrrrre do! Good to keep them in the family too
  7. I thought Gator bought this one when it was for sale prior
  8. Congrads on the 4.0, and that 6.0's real nice. Are they all from Sparkle City? I've been missing a lot these days
  9. the probablility of SC #22 eclipsing AF #15 in our lifetimes is zero +1 I'd say the likelihood of even SC4 ever eclipsing AF15 again is very, VERY slim (thumbs u A lifetime is a long time, never say never. But you are probably right on at least one level. Spider-Man has more universal appeal, and has become somewhat of an icon, whereas I doubt the Flash character (or Green Lantern for that matter) has the legs that Spidey does or the capacity to achieve similar status. Still, Showcase #4 and #22, are like AF #15. legendary. BTW, I'm covered on both fronts too
  10. And they will change again, so hang tight
  11. Time to buy DC keys like SC 22,B&B 28 etc. They will catch up to the Marvels, they are as key as any of the books you mentioned. Nah, everyone should just keep ignoring them I agree! Sell all your Silver Age DCs immediately, and then keep right on selling them. I'll be the buyer of last resort because I'm such a generous kind-hearted soul. You are truly selfless
  12. Time to buy DC keys like SC 22,B&B 28 etc. They will catch up to the Marvels, they are as key as any of the books you mentioned. Nah, everyone should just keep ignoring them
  13. Maybe the economy's hit them hard and they simply need cash
  14. Hey, they're about to release a Blue-Ray of the movie and a new animated series. I dunno, maybe this and the new launch in the DC "52" could reignite fan interest.
  15. S22 has always been in high demand. long before a flick was in infancy. Rich (showcase22gr1959) should be able to tell you what 7s are going for. I just don't see it sell less than $5K...will be interesting.
  16. A new Showcase #4's has materialized. Lately, they seem to be coming out of the woodwork. http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fitems%2Easp%3Fid%3D3863&id=907029
  17. Wow, things sure have changed since I sold a 4.5 undercopy for $2100. Well, at least the prices haven't fallen below pre-movie levels. It remains to be seen what the reboot and subsequent films from the DC camp can do for the brand. One wonders if this could be the beginnings of a DC "spring".
