  9. Unfortunately, no. Sill need #14 Love those green covers
  10. Dialing this down a bit, here with a Showcase #8 CGC 5.0 CR/OW, the sister book to Showcase #4 snagged off ebay the other day. I've been looking for a nice mid-grade copy that didn't break the bank, and I managed to win this one. The case is a little scratched up, so I will eventually get it reslabbed when I have a few books to submit. Anyway, here she is . . .
  11. Wow! That is a sight to behold. Congrads
  12. Wish they'd take that 6.0 that sold for $4500 off the site. Makes everything else look overpriced. Never understood why Comiclink keeps sold books posted for so long
  13. Wow. And the picture certainly didn't speak volumes about the book.
  14. Me too. That chunk is a bit wee too much, but without that a nice book. Well, no sale - reserve not met at $3,890.00 [ 28 bids ] A Showcase #8 in 5.0 CR/OW by the same seller sold.
  15. There's a 4.0 on ebay with a big-ole' chunk out of the bottom, right front cover. I'll take my 4.0 with light tan pages over a book with chunk out of the cover. Any day of the week
  16. And another SC #22 comes to market . . . http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?id=890437 . . . and another, and another, and another
  17. I was wondering where that book went. Didn't realize he listed it at auction. Heck, at that price I'd have bid. I know. I was counting on getting interest from buyers who wanted a better copy that the 4.5 on Clink, but could not quite afford the 9.0. Oh well, I should have passed on the bargain to one of you guys. I realize now that I was really being greedy. I was hoping I could have paid for Pierce's delivery, but of course that is not happening. Hopefully, you can forgive me and hopefully I will learn from this The plight of being a selfish human You weren't being selfish Nik, you were riding the wave just like the rest of us. I was following this book since you purchased it, the book was listed in the marketplace on the boards and ebay (BIN) several times and no one paid much attention to it. It was like the book had cooties or something. I couldn't understand it. Then Nik and his family were plunged into a real-life crisis with Pierce's delivery, and I think he simply put the book up for auction and was unable to promote it properly (when he was dealing with his family crisis) and the book simply was not being watched and got snapped up. Anyway, I kinda feel bad for pointing it out now, didn't mean to rub salt into the wounds, but It's definitely a book that has changed the bidding landscape - twice.

At least you didn't lose money, and someone got a gift.
  19. With prices all over the map, who knows these days Anyway, that's the way it goes on ebay.
  20. Ouch, Nikelspot took a beating on that 6.0 he snagged off of ebay (for well below FMV). It sold last night on ebay for about $3500 $3,320.00. Granted, he made a profit, but that way below what 6.0's have been selling for, no?
  21. That's a great cover, and a black one that looks to be in really nice shape as well. Congrads (thumbs u
  22. When the Flash movie comes out, ok "if" folks will be falling over themselves to get a copy of SC #4 and the owner of this copy will be in the cat-bird seat
