  1. Nice books, prompt shipping, securely packed, accurately represented. Thanks again! Bob
  2. Congratulations George! That copy has excellent eye appeal for the given grade. Well done sir
  3. Wow, the patent trademarking the logotype Now that is cool (thumbs u
  4. Soooo that was you! Is the grade your assessment or did you send it in for a walk-through? If its the one I was watching, it looked like it might even grade higher (i posed the question about the page count and the seller posted it). Whatever. Congratulations on landing that one! (thumbs u it's not in the census, so that question is answered.
  5. Another Wonder Woman #7 is on the block, this one at CC. http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=456233 Will it exceed the $7,469 paid for the last 7.0 copy? And what about that WW #7 CGC 9.2 in Comiclink. Where will that end?
  6. Great looking book there, but please take it out of that wrinkle-factory of a bag it's in I've had books end up with an imprint from heavily wrinkled bags. Congrads!
  7. Ditto, but we probably are biased (thumbs u
  8. showcase22gr1959 . . . or as he's know is these parts "The Showcase Kid"
  9. They were read to pieces before people realized they would be worth a whole lot. (thumbs u Yeah but people read Marvel's too. There are so many HG copies vs DC? Was Marvel's circulation that much higher?
  10. cant believe I missed this I totally would have bid on that. My LCS owner has a cover . Wow, a cover. That is really amazing. He (or a customer) probably bought the book
  11. . . . and a cover less copy of SC #4 went for a respectable $355 on eBay as well. Some one will be in the market for a repro-cover
  12. There was a very decent looking CGC 6.0 CR/OW Showcase #8 that closed at $2215 on eBay. It probably would have been higher if I remembered to bid Why are there so few decent copies of DC silver age keys? They seem to sell when they come up. So why aren't more offered for sale? Are they being hoarded for some diabolical purpose? It's a little annoying that so few decent copies come up for sale.
  13. That is way cool! It looks to be in pretty decent shape as well. Congrads and welcome to the boards!
  14. Wowser http://www.comiclink.com/search_adv.asp?all=y&TITLE=wonder+woman&TITLEOPT=ALL&ISSUE=&Condition=&ConditionTo=&CensusRank=&SearchPageQuality=&Pedigree=&PRICEF=&PRICET=&DESCRIPTION=&DESCRIPTIONOPT=ALL&SearchRemarks=&SearchCGC=&EXCLUDE=&CATEGORIES=-1&WCATEGORIES=-1&SORT=NEW&_where_forsale=y&_where_auctions=y&ExcludeSP=y&x=21&y=0&where_forsale=y Only $51,920
  15. Yes, I have the scoop. I owned the book for 10 years. I believe it got a grade of 9.6 but I cannot remember for sure. The guy I bought the book from graded the book MINT. It is the Gerber photo journal copy too. John Verzyl told me on his 1st visit to Chuck, almost the entire WW run was still there. He picked the #10 as the best overall issue. The book is AMAZING! Hope that helps! http://www.metropoliscomics.com/load_bookDetails.php?id=446168&set=0 This book was in an old holder, I submitted it in 2000. Now that it is in a new holder my guess is some one pressed it & damaged it. Too bad. Could it be that flaws were missed the 1st time it was graded?
  16. Metro also has the Wonder Woman #2, #8 and #30 Mile High copies for sale. Somebody with a big budget could put together a nice WWMH starter-set
  17. I finally started to do that, registered my small set of "D" copies TBH, I found the interface to be a bit quirky. I kept having to re-upload pictures before they appeared. I think you would probably be up there on top.
  18. I think it was a 7.0 the #5 is the Mile High Monk copy (slight resto) now owned by our own skypinkblu I have both of them;) Of course you do
  19. Like I said, wow. #3's are not exactly common either. You and Sharon floor me on what you have and had.
  20. Just . . . wow If you don't mind me asking what was that #3 in the old-stye CGC label graded at?
  21. On ebay there was recently a #7 cover for sale and a separate auction selling the "inside pages" of a #7. Both sales were reasonably priced (to end up with a complete #7), so I imagine it's possible someone got the makings of a married copy. Wondered if someone here got it?
  22. I was correct, Adam has a raw Sensation #6 in GD in the marketplace. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=5586358&fpart=7 I would love to start a Sensation run, but I haven't discovered gold in my yard yet
  23. The #6 is much harder...at least in my experience...and the Sensation 6 is worse... Hi Sha I think a Sensation #6 was for sale here on the boards recently, maybe Adam (filter81) was the seller
